Hotel della catena B&B Hotels che ben conosciamo grazie alle esperienze positive avute in Francia, Italia e Germania, comodamente situato a breve distanza dall’ingresso sud della stazione centrale di Karlsruhe. Prenotato tramite il sito internet di B&B al costo di 78€ per una notte, due persone, colazione esclusa, posso dire che si è trattato di un ottimo soggiorno. Probabilmente il prezzo è stato un po’ oltre alla media ma, la presenza dell’ampio parcheggio gratuito in garage, collegato direttamente alla struttura tramite ascensore, è stato perfetto e ci ha permesso di girare la città anche il mattino successivo, solo questo vale un voto massimo. La camera è la classica di questo tipo di albergo (qui era presente anche un terzo letto) con bagno (dotato anche di phon) Wi-Fi, aria condizionata e, dietro al letto, una riproduzione della particolare mappa cittadina a ventaglio. Come in tutti gli alberghi della catena però, la mancanza un piccolo frigorifero è la cosa che più si fa sentire e, almeno per mio modo di vedere la stanza, aggiungerlo cambierebbe molto. In ogni caso, il gentile personale dell’albergo si è mostrato disponibile a mettere in fresco dei ghiaccioli, utili per trasportare qualcosa nella nostra borsa frigo. Grazie alla vicinanza alla stazione, basta percorrere il lungo passaggio che dall’ingresso sud porta all’ingresso principale per trovare diversi tram comodissimi per il centro città oltre a treni diretti nelle vicinanze o anche oltre e, ancora più in periodo di 9-Euro Ticket, questo è stato veramente perfetto. Un ottimo albergo, comodo, silenzioso, ben gestito, sicuramente sarebbe la prima scelta per un nuovo soggiorno a Karlsruhe.

I was originally staying at another hotel for the duration of my holiday to visit some friends in Karlsruhe, but ended up getting the dates mixed and needed an extra night at a hotel. The price for the one night stay I had was really affordable, and it was not a long way from my friends. Even if the stay was only for one night, the hotel and the room itself was really nice! The staff was nice and helpful as well, which made my check-in and check-out very pleasant! The area was nice and quiet, and I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel considering it was only for one night!

Good location for a four star hotel. The hotel is close to the commercial area and the surrounding environment is also very good. Calling a taxi from the main fire is almost 9 euros. The hotel is very hygienic and the front desk staff is very friendly. The hotel is fully equipped with a gym. It’s just that the texture of the interior decoration is better. Later, Karu will choose to live here.

Hotel is closely located to the Messe Karlsruhe and easily accessible by public transportation. The look and feel of the hotel is modern in overall and is nicely done (floral-themed), the rooms clean and nicely furnished. Overall nice stay. However, two things we weren’t pleased about and also heard other people complain about: This hotel is not accepting any cash but cards only. For guests from abroad, even small bills needed to be paid with card and commission usually apply for each transaction. Totally get the thinking of the cards-only policy but it definitely is not guests-friendly at all. The other thing is that we forgot to bring our travel adapter. Not the first time but in all previous hotel, we have also been able to borrow one from the reception. From a hotel which is located closest to a venue like the Messe Karlsruhe and with almost 160 rooms, we would’ve expected that they are prepared with a few travel adapter. Fact is: they have not a single one. As said: overall nice stay and we would probably book again, if we’re going to visit the Messe Karlsruhe but otherwise, we would definitely look for another hotel.

Sehr schönes Hotel, super modern. Beim Check in dauerte es sehr lange, die Schlange war schon ziemlich lang bis endlich mal eine zweite Person an die Rezeption kam. Später am Abend haben wir uns unten eine Flasche Wasser gekauft - 6 Euro für 1 Liter stilles Wasser sorry ist einfach zu teuer - sind damit dann aufs Zimmer und mussten feststellen, dass es nicht mal Gläser auf dem Zimmer gab. Also zwei Gläser gehören meiner Meinung nach zur Grundausstattung und eine Flasche Wasser auch.

The receptionist refused to check me in after makijg many mistakes like not informing me about the procedure reason, why despite online check in, I had again to fill in my details, gave me wthe wrong change (24 € to little) when paying. Once I made he receptionist aware, there was no apology but just a comment: „this can happen“. Once the receptionist realized that I was not happy with the service, she told me to leave the hotel and called the police to escort me out. Such a humiliating, frustrating and discrimination I have never experienced in my life after traveling he world and staying in so many hotels. On top, when coming back 2 days later to meet the General Manager, I experienced the devastating attitude since again: no apologies, just accusations, that the guiltily one is me as a customer. If you really have to stay in this hotel, I recommend: 1.) expect no service at all 2.) count carefully the change you receive 3.) don’t say anything, because if you do, the receptionist might not like what you say and will kick you out of the hotel 4.) Look before, what other hotels are in the region so that you are prepared for the unexpected But best is, try to avoid this hotel as long as the current management and employees are still working in this hotel
