Ótimas instalações e um atendimento muito personalizado. Os quartos muito bonitos e as camas bastante confortáveis. Adorámos o pequeno-almoço e a experiência em geral. Foi pouco tempo mas valeu a pena!

A pousada parece uma viagem ao passado mas com todo o conforto dos tempos modernos. Gostámos particularmente da casa de banho toda em mármore e a comida é excelente quer no pequeno almoço como jantar no restaurante com uma vista espetacular. O pessoal é muito simpático e há bastantes lugares para estacionar. Só ficámos duas noites mas à volta há imensos sítios para visitar e comer bem.

Com certeza uma das melhores experiências que ja tivemos em um hotel. Dormir em um castelo, tomar café da manhã em um salão nobre! Sensacional. Tudo limpo, organizado! E o castelo é um verdadeiro museu! E ainda tem uma torre com uma vista maravilhosa! Simplesmente imperdível e inesquecível!

Uma pousada que mantém o charme de antigamente. Serviço de receção muito bom, atencioso e preocupado ao detalhe! Pequeno almoço 5*. A piscina prolonga as tardes com vista para a vila. Os espaços do hotel carecem de alguma atualização, mas para quem gosta de hotéis com história - está muito bom. Cama muito confortável

This is a beautiful, luxurious hotel inside the castle walls in Estremoz. Lovely accommodations, good food, kind and gracious staff. The pool is very nice, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are well-appointed. Pousada da Rainha Santa Isabel is the perfect way to experience the best the Alentejo has to offer.

For many, many years, we have been coming to Portugal but apparently not! We have visited the Algarve many times and stayed in Oporto and Lisbon plus the coast in between. However, having found Estremos, Evora and Cuidad Rodrigo on this road trip, we realise these previous places to visit are but the front of the country and here in the east is the real Portugal! Beautiful fruit trees and vineyards abound with Pelicans nesting on telegraph poles. Beautiful towns and historic buildings and emplacements. So, so much to see….. This ancient yet well maintained hotel is in a fort overlooking the beautiful town of Estremos which, like the hotel, is clean and well looked after by its people. The staff are lovely and so professional from check in through refreshments to check out. The room we enjoyed was comfortable but modernised but did not lose its authenticity. The bathroom was in the small size but understandable bearing in mind the place’s age. We so look forward to coming back to enjoy the really tasty local cuisine on offer at the hotel and elsewhere and staying in this remarkable building.
