The hotel was close to activities, quiet, very clean, roomy, and the new owner was friendly, available when we had questions. We would stay her again.

Easy access to RMNP
We stayed here for a couple nights while exploring RMNP. We loved that we didn't have to be there by a certain time to check-in, they text us with instructions to enter our room, very handy. Double queen room was a nice size room. We could either open windows or use the nice cold in-room AC. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean. Quieter area of town away from intense traffic.

Très déçue
Notre chambre était très près de la route et la circulation nous a réveillés de bonne heure. Le bureau est ouvert entre 9 heures et 17 heures. On est arrivé à 5h30 et on était ennuyé car tout était fermé. Il fallait téléphoner et notre téléphone ne fonctionne pas aux USA. Heureusement que l'employé avait oublié quelque chose et est revenu. Nous avons decoivert qu'on avait reçu un code et un numéro de chambre, mais il est plus pratique de recevoir l'explication de la procédure.
La piscine était en maintenance. Nous n'avons pas pu en profiter. Motel vétuste mais propre

Hiking trip
Were there for 3 nights. Very quiet and clean. Could park in front of our room. Short drive to Estes Park. Elk walk past hotel during the rut

Everything was amazing.. everything we needed for our getaway.. we loved the location and the hot tub at the end of the day was the cherry on top. Nice coffee maker and fridge to prepare our sandwiches to go. We loved that they had a common area with things to borrow or even take for free that other guests left like sunscreen, bug spray etc. Will definitely come back again!

this is a great little motor lodge that has been lovingly restored. it's a great location (and value!) for exploring estes park (not walkable to downtown but close enough) and rocky mountain national park. i'd recommend it to anyone coming to the area. it's clean and cozy - all you need! the only "qualms" i had were that there isn't a full-length mirror in the room, we didn't have tissues and the bathroom was always FREEZING (but not really something the owners can control - it's an older building, blame the insulation). down the stretch would love to see them offer a breakfast option or something of the like. in addition, our room #4, had a microwave/fridge area that would be a lovely spot to add a sink. not a must have but when making coffee daily in the room, we had to dump old coffee down the bathroom sink, which wasn't a problem but had to run down the hall of our room to do so. again, truly nothing wrong that would ever bar me from staying here!

I've had the pleasure of staying at the newly renovated Kinnickinick Motor Lodge multiple times, both solo and with my family, and each visit has been fantastic! The lovely owners, cute aesthetic, and the lodge's close proximity to my sister's place make it the perfect choice for any type of stay. Highly recommended for both solo travelers and families!
