We stayed here on a short trip to Colorado back in 2020, and it was fantastic. Clean, everything kept up well, and though not flashy, we found it to be a great spot. This led us to stay here again last week, and things have fallen off quite badly. Pool was pea soup green with algae, and though not technically closed, you wouldn't want to swim in. Rooms were not terribly clean. Bathroom fan light was filled with dead flies. Sad to see a place that was so nice turn into this.

Ruime kamers en schoon. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt was goed en lekker. De omgeving is mooi. Vanuit hotel ben je zo in de gezellige winkelstraat. De ligging van het hotel is prima om vanuit daar naar Estes park in te gaan. Ik zou hier zeker nog een keer verblijven

Going downhill. We have stayed here for a few years but no more. Hottub inop. Pool inop. No heat, pumps off, dirty, slim floating, no water going into filters. Doesn't smell like chlorine. Basketball hoop gone. Washer and dryer inop. Hot Breakfast was cold. Hair in towels. All tables and chairs outside rooms gone. Pool chairs gone or broken. Swing gone. No maintenance exterior and carpet is full of holes. Avoid if you have kids for sure. The high rating was from prior management who was always working on something.

1 No yogurt for breakfast on Sunday or Monday because he failed to order enough and won't buy more. The reclaimed hot breakfast items usually wind up in the trash. 2 The TV doesn't work but he is is clueless about the messy jumble of wires. When he leaves, I find the loose connection and fix it. 3 The dryer in the laundry room doesn't work. But he doesn't put a sign on it or warn people not to wash their clothes. 4 No one is available in the middle of the day or at night. The office door is locked. Forget it if you have a problem. BUT the place is convenient and the price is reasonable compared to other lodging. Also, the staff works hard to keep the roons clean. So it is okay despite the manager.
