Rams Horn Village Resort

The house was spacious and well equipped. The (advertized) heated pool was closed and the "hot" tubs only lukewarm and full of leaves. Location is in a triangle beteween two highways. This is not what you expect 3 miles out of town when plenty of space and beautiful nature are available.

This is the #1 resort in Estes Park for various reasons: beautiful setting, close to the Natl Park, friendly and helpful staff, super comfortable - they have everything you need for a perfect vacation! It's also close to downtown Estes Park so you have a variety of shops and restaurants to visit.

On a recent trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. We were looking for a place for two couples to spend 3 nights. At first we opted for a hotel in Estes Park. After, checking out other options we found Rams Horn Village Resort. We found it cost us a lot less than booking two hotel rooms. The resort is near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, which made it very convenient. Plus it was only a short 2 mile ride, if we wanted to go into Estes Park. The unit we had, had ample room. We had two bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, dinette and kitchen. The beds were very comfortable with great linens. Bathrooms had good water pressure and soft towels. It also had great wifi, which is a plus in this area. There was a tv in the living room and each of the bedrooms. There was a pool and numerous hot tubs throughout the property. We found the property and condo to be very clean with all the conveniences we needed. One day we even found a slow cooker, went to the store and made a great stew. After a day of hiking it was nice to come back to dinner ready. Then we just relaxed with the warmth of the fireplace. The staff was also very helpful, with any issues, directions or recommendations we needed. There were also a a few bars and restaurants a short walk away. We would definitely recommend Rams Horn Village Resort to family and friends. The scenery was fantastic.

We come about every other year for the past 20 years or so. The staff are so helpful with any questions or concerns that may arise. They let us know about new restaurants that are new in town. If there are fun activities for the kids in town, they let you know about them. We did have one of our windows fall of it’s track and the maintenance guys came right over and fixed post haste. The facilities are great for kids, the pool keeps them busy for hours. Also there is enough space for kids to bike around safely. Also enough open space for lawn games as well. Can’t say enough about the amazing hospitality of the staff and the facilities fell like home away from home. See you in 2026!

Facilities and area were very nice and clean. Had one minor issue with the refrigerator no closing and sealing properly. If you like to flyfish and are having difficulty getting into the park just across the road from Rams Horn is about 400 yards of public land (Rams Horn side) with access to the Big Thompson. Always catch fish out of this little stretch, especially if I only have time to fish for a couple hours.

Great place to have a large family vacation. Had 2 2 bedroom homes and 1 3 bedroom plus a penthouse. Accommodated our whole bunch great. We do this every other year, have never been disappointed at the quality of the homes, the pool and playground, the free wine & cheese (aka Saturday nite dinner) or the $3 wonderful waffle Sunday breakfast.

Don’t let false advertising lead you away from Ram’s Horn time shares. We have two treasured time shares, purchased in 2004, and what a bargain, haven’t missed a year! They are great at maintenance, nothing ever is “unkempt”, always on top of any problems that may come up and renewing as required. And such a great location, close to town but for enough away to be private. Located in beautiful Estes Park, CO. You won’t find any better anywhere! Kenneth S.

We've managed to stay at Rams Horn several times over the years and we're never disappointed. The resort is beautiful and well kept. The staff are extremely friendly very knowledgeable about Estes and the National Park. Give them a try you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I was finally able to book this resort after years trying to get a unit! It was an adorable townhome with everything we needed. The beds were super-comfy, and the resort was so quiet! It was a perfect place within waking distance to the RMNP entrance, plus restaurants and the Country Market where minutes away-no need to go into downtown. The Rockies were surrounding the resort, plus elk walked about the property. The front desk staff were super-friendly and so helpful with lots of great local suggestions and RM park info. We loved every minute of this trip, and loved how dead it was the week before Memorial Day!
