Beautiful resort type hotel with super comfortable villas. Right in a great swimming beach, plus a nice pool. Restaurant is fantastic. My second time staying here, will definitely be back!

Nos comunicamos previamente con el hotel para consultar disponibilidad y si aceptaban mascotas. La recepcionista, nos confirmó que sí admitían perros y nos dio el precio de la habitación con un 10% de descuento incluido. Todo parecía en orden, por lo que decidimos reservar. Sin embargo, al llegar nos llevamos una desagradable sorpresa: nos informaron que el perro tenía un costo adicional. Este detalle nunca fue mencionado al momento de la reserva, lo cual alteró por completo el precio final y superó lo que habíamos pactado inicialmente. Además, la piscina estaba sumamente sucia, incluso con un cangrejo muerto flotando en el agua. El bar de la piscina estaba inundado y en evidente abandono. El desayuno fue muy limitado, pobre en calidad y cantidad. El lugar tiene un entorno hermoso y un gran potencial, pero lamentablemente queda debiendo mucho en limpieza, mantenimiento y atención al cliente. Con una mejor gestión y más transparencia, la experiencia podría mejorar considerablemente. Recomendamos mayor claridad al momento de brindar información, especialmente si hay cargos adicionales involucrados.

It is a beautiful place.. very spacious outside and inside the rooms and right on the beach. The staff was very helpful.. especially Wendy at the desk who helped me prepare to have a big party there later in June. The free breakfast was delicious and so was lunch and dinner.

El lugar está muy bien ubicado, y ofrece un precio atractivo. La limpieza es regular (la habitación se veía limpia pero la ducha nunca la limpiaron). La comida del restaurante es cara y fea. No debería de haber en Costa Rica un lugar que sirvan mal café y un gallo pinto tan soso. El personal fue muy amable, honrado, respetuoso y atendió todas nuestras solicitudes de la mejor manera. Los muebles de la piscina necesitan urgente renovación (muchos están dañados y son escasos).

Great beachfront location, incredibly helpful staff. But the hotel seems to be struggling to survive. Dinner was inexpensive, but not memorable in any way. The included breakfast was somewhat better. Deferred maintenance issues abound. We couldn't lock the door to our first room, and there was no-one to repair it. The list, unfortunately, goes on.

The place was nice but the rooms has stuff broken and no one to repair or care for it. It was so rundown and terribly understaffed by people who were bad but didn’t really care. They promised us a $300 refund and never sent it. So I come back now and again to recall our experience and warn others. It doesn’t get my money back but at least there is a cost for their dishonest behavior.
