I had a "confirmed" reservation on a popular hotel bookings website. Yet, when I arrived at the hotel, it was locked tight, no access, no reception or call box, parcels & mail piled-up on the street. I spoke with neighbours & apparently the hotel has been closed for months. I tried to confirm the booking 2 days before I travelled - sent a message via the booking website but had no reply; I also called the number that was listed on the booking website & one from a local City website, but rang busy. The hotel is still advertised on many websites so it was a bad shock to find it CLOSED. Lessons learned - don't use a booking website rather book your rooms directly with hotels; if there is no hotel website, avoid; confirm the booking with the hotel by phone well in advance.

推薦給簡單需求的商務旅行需求的你，附近有地鐵站可以到達Messen 展覽館以及百貨公司，但有以下注意事項供來自亞洲的您參考： 1.星期日，附近的百貨公司跟超市是休息的，只剩中東餐館有營業 2.德國人普遍沒裝空調，夏天下午時間待在房間是非常熱的，需要把窗戶跟門打開通風，但還是很熱.......，特別感謝附近的小商店Kiosk Yas，在炎熱的日子販賣清涼的啤酒及可樂．如果你跟我依樣是星期日就入住Ruhr hotel，那建議你晚點到達，因為房間跟烤箱一樣熱，附近又沒商店可逛，記得帶露營用隨身電扇讓自己舒服一點，或者跟我一樣用扇子扇風.......... 3.早餐10歐元CP值不高可以吃一天體驗一下，wifi信號很差，需要靠在門邊才能連上，就算連上也沒資料傳輸........當成沒有wifi你會好過一點 4.當你決定入住時，把它當成體驗30年前的簡單德國生活一樣，這會是一個很美好的過程，只有樓梯，裝潢有點舊式，但很乾淨，房務人員不太會英語，裡面相關訊息也都是德文的，尤其是需先按門口右邊的按鈕，房務人員才會用遙控解除門禁，你才能把門拉開(以上須知用德文寫在按鈕旁~~)P.S房務人員很友善，願意提供相對應的協助，我們用google 翻譯溝通的不錯 5.住宿過程，除了美好假日附近沒啥商店有營業，讓我只能在炎熱的房間只喝啤酒以外，一切過程都還不錯，當然這建立在我有自己的手機網路～～～

El peor hotel que he estado. De aspecto austero y anclado en el tiempo. El hotel con el suelo de moqueta. la habitación austera en en dos noches que he estado no han entrado el servicio de habitaciones. El primer día sin agua caliente. En fin un despropósito de hotel.

Pro´s: The hotel is Clean and nice, bathroom renovated and is near the Rüttenscheider weg and the Folkgang Museum, It has a terrace with tables and chairs, many transport connections, U17 is near, Hauptbahnhof around 15 minutes...nice surroundings... beauty stores, old vinyl store with a nice landlord which invites you a coffee and hear music. Some contra's: No TV in the room and weak internet signal during stay. In general, the Crew is nice, and kind.

No TV in the room snd poor internet signal during stay, it was inestable, so we can't work or try a communication. Unfortunately the crew/owners didn't do nothing to improve the service. They offer rooms with wifi and TV. Other clients have same problems during their stay. In the other hand Hotel Is Clean, bathroom renovated snd Is near the Rüttenscheider Weg, well connected, U17 is near, Hbf around 15 minutes...nice surroundings...

J'ai séjourné dans cet Hôtel en Mai 2023, l'hôtel est bien situé au calme, proche des restaurants de la ville ce qui est un point positif. Le petit déjeuner est très médiocre, pas d'eau chaude pour le Thé, et la machine pour faire le café ne fonctionnait pas. La bonne volonté du gardien (seule personne de service dans l'hôtel au moment du petit déjeuner) n'était pas suffisante pour nous servir un petit déjeuner correct. Très décevant.
