Hotel Das Lola

Pleasant weekend stay The hotel seems to have had a recent make over and a re-brand. The room was immaculately clean and the bathroom looked new and was also very good. My only criticism is the lack of amenities; if you want a kettle or iron you need to go to a store cupboard on the ground floor to get it yourself and there is no fridge in the room. Apart from that my partner and I enjoyed the quiet and were very pleased with the room quality

We came to stay at this hotel over the weekend and we came for work. Truly we believed it’s not a 4 star. It is a 3 star. Reception is only open from 7am till 3pm. We arrived late, so there was no receptionist, our room was clean but the sink was so blocked that it wasn’t possible to properly use it at all, not even to brush the teeth cause the water would come to the floor. The next day in the morning I went and asked a receptionist to unblock the silk. Seemed like or she didn’t care or she didn’t speak English well. She didn’t even say she’s sorry that in a 4 star hotel the water comes on the floor if we use a sink. After we left to work all day and when we came back in the evening - nothing was fixed. Sink is the same very much blocked and receptionist is gone. I’d not recommend and not come back. Had to brush my teeth with a water bootle. Also there is only one pillow and house keeping just turned off the heating so it’s freezing cold when we come back, instead of giving fresh towels, bath mat (they forgot once again to give us a bath mat) or toilet paper. Honestly this hotel is not worth the money at all.
