Lovely and guest oriented hotel in green area
This hotel lies in the greener outskirt of Essen, ideal for cycling trips or to visit tne Ruhrgebiet without the rush of a city centre. We had a very comfortable stay. There is a lot of eye for detail in this hotel. For example: we had two racebikes with us which we could park securely in a special and fully equipped bikegarage. The breakfast was well organised and the restaurant is a recommendation for lunch and dinner. Last but not least the personnel is really guest focussed. Only attention point; there is no AC in the room so I suppose there room could get really hot in summer.

Das Zimmer war gelinde gesagt ein absoluter Albtraum! Was auch immer da erdacht wurde als Konzept, war/ist mehr als nur hässlich. Gebucht war zudem ein Zimmer mit Badewanne, bekommen haben wir ein "Burg" Zimmer ohne Badewanne natürlich, welches sogar die Spieleecke im Mac Donalds alt aussehen lässt. Das Zimmer war zudem abgewohnt, dunkel und himmelschreiend unangenehm und leider auch im Badezimmer dreckig. In der Dusche selbst, schwarzer Schimmel in den Gummifugen der Verkleidung, Bodenfliesen lose, Spiegel nicht gereinigt usw. Irittirend empfand ich zudem, Handtücher auf dem Boden neben das Bett zu legen. Ich weiss nicht wofür diese gedacht waren aber hygienisch ein super No-Go. Mein absolutes Highlight aber war, der aufgemalte Vorhang an der Decke. Ich habe selten so etwas hässliches gesehen und finde das diese Zimmer wirklich niemandem angeboten werden sollten. Mein Fazit: Bitte nicht wieder vermieten die Zimmer sind grauslich!
