I made a reservation for 30 people on Saturday lunchtime. The Südtiroler Stuben sent me a group menu from which everyone could choose a dish in the morning. This meant that lunch went smoothly and quickly. We only had 1 hour for the lunch break as we had our next appointment at Villa Hügel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our group was completely satisfied. The food was great.

Today we had breakfast with 12 people in the Südtiroler Stuben on Lake Baldeney. A really beautiful location right on the lake! Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 deluxe breakfasts we ordered were ordered (around €40 each!) and the third deluxe breakfast was added to one of the two plates after we asked. The selection was OK, a piece of Brie, Gouda, ham, salami, jam, scrambled eggs, salmon, bacon, fruit salad, organ juice. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for the food, which of course isn't so bad if we had received everything. For the scrambled eggs and 1 small bowl of bacon for 3 deluxe breakfasts?! We had to wait another 30 minutes and even then it was still incomplete. We had to keep asking for the breakfast items listed on the menu, which were then gradually served to us. What was a bit cheeky for the price was the fruit salad. A small bowl (really very small bowl) for 2 people! The ambience and location are really lovely, but we won't be coming again. For these prices I expect a full breakfast, as it says on the menu.

Neither the German cuisine nor the decoration has anything to do with South Tyrol Just because there are two deer on the windowsill doesn't mean it's South Tyrol It's a shame the waiter is very friendly and attentive and very cooperative
