Kind and welcoming host in authentic riad. Welcomed by the smell of fresh bread from bakery next door and taken there for samples. Excellent breakfast, quiet but within walking distance to all the sights. We were based in Marrakesh but the two days we had in Essaouira was the highlight of the holiday

Das Riad liegt innerhalb der Medina in Essaouira, in einer recht ruhigen Straße. Das Haus ist hübsch, braucht aber in vielen Einrichtungsgegenständen (Teppiche, Duschkabine , … ) ein makeover und bessere Reinigung. Das Frühstück ist einfach und ausreichend. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich.

La situation géographique est très bonne au sein de la médina et à 5mn de la plage / La literie est de bonne qualité / le personnel est accueillant, gentil et bienveillant / le petit déjeuner très correct. TOUTEFOIS: Pas de chauffage du tout en novembre, rendant les chambres froides et inconfortables; des odeurs nauséabondes dans les salles de bain type égouts (j'ai dû changer de chambre 2 fois.... en vain); pas d'isolation phonique rendant les bruits de la rue et les voisins des autres chambres du riad très présents et donc dérangeants. De surcroit on vous demande de régler au check in, donc d'avance, sans remise de facture, que j'attends toujours. Tout ceci est purement factuel et sincère. Je ferai un autre choix la prochaine fois.

Très bonne adresse! Un accueil 5 étoiles et encore 1000 mercis à Najat et aussi à Ali… tant pour leurs disponibilités que pour le service et pour la réactivité … notamment pour la TV ( une fiche explicative serait la bienvenue…😉)sans parler de leurs sourires … Les chambres sont superbes et les petits déjeuners copieux… idéalement placé je recommande…et je reviendrai… inchallah

Lovely Riad. The rooms were very spacious with everything you needed. Well positioned to explore Essouria, which was my favourite part of Morocco. Ali is lovely and a great host. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others

Estupendo Riad, muy bien ubicado. Desayuno rico - pan, bollería, zumo de naranja natural. Recomiendo elegir una habitación premium, camas cómodas y buen tamaño de habitación. Personal muy amable, en especial Ali.

We had a couple of nights at this riad during a recent trip to Essaouira and would highly recommend it to other travellers. It is in a really convenient location, just within the old city walls, and provides accommodation at a reasonable price. The staff are really warm and hospitable and the rooms very comfy. The overall atmosphere of the riad is also lovely - so peaceful and relaxing!
