We really loved this riad - with its coastal vibe and beautiful view over the sea - and would definitely recommend it. We were lucky enough to have two rooms just off of the roof terrace, and as the riad was quite quiet, we felt like we had a terrace to ourselves at times. The view was beautiful at all times of day - and although you can't see the sun set directly from it, the city walls reflect the sunset and the colours are beautiful. We were in the town at a very busy time - when everyone leaves Marrakech for some cooler weather - and to have such a peaceful place to stay amongst that busy-ness was just ideal. Staff were wonderful, food was fantastic (we ate in one night) and we also enjoyed a small amount of time at the sister property.

The friendly staff and cleanliness were top class. We were brilliantly assisted with recommendations for restaurants, taxis and entertainment throughout our stay. All this for half the price of anywhere else in Europe! We will be back!

An outstanding hotel- unique Moroccan charm in a fabulous location. The pool at the Jardins is not to be missed. A perfect place to stay for soaking up culture and getting a great dose of relaxing. This was our second visit and we are already planning our return! Thank you Villa Maroc!

Un excellent séjour à Villa Maroc. Le personnel est vraiment formidable, très souriant... La Directrice est très présente auprès de sa clientèle, toujours un petit mot sympathique. L'hôtel est propre et super bien placé. Une magnifique vue sur Essaouira

I love the magical feeling I get when I am in this riad. The staff is attentive and the food is wonderful (Chef Hayat makes a delicious Couscous Royal). The rooms are very comfortable and each is unique. The décor is beautiful. This is my second visit — and I hope not my last.

Suite avec vue mer est en fait vue sur les toits voisins. Rideaux non occultants ( sans volets) donc réveillés aux aurores. Serviette de bain tachée. Dîner ( obligatoire !) avec couscous un mardi soir !!!! Par contre, personnel extrêmement accueillant et petit déjeuner magnifique en roof top

Un endroit authentique au charme indescriptible au coeur de la vieille ville. Nous n'avions plus visité la Villa Maroc depuis plusieurs années mais l'endroit n'a fait que gagner en valeur ! De l'accueil à l'intimité des lieux, tout n'est qu'émerveillement sensoriel. Nous n'avons qu'un seul regret... celui de n'être resté que deux nuits !

The hotel is really nice, the location is perfect, the breakfast is really simple and good and the roof top has a beautiful view... the only problem was that the first night we had in our room the same fish smell that you can find in the famous fish market of Essauira. I wasn't able to understand if it was the first time it happened or if the there is a problem with the Essauira sewer and the hotel..
