Hotels with Breakfast in Essaouira

The hygiene of the room was good, but we booked a room with two beds. The distance between the two beds is so small that they feel like they are connected together. And because it is a resort hotel, there is no place to put the computer in the room, and there is no decent table. It seems like people over there don't use computers at all when they're on vacation. In addition, it took me a long time to find the charging socket. It was on the side. A small socket on the side of a tree-stump chair. The panel of the socket falls off as soon as it is plugged in. The shower room has no curtain or door.

After reading some of the reviews before staying at this hotel I have to say I'm not surprised. I totally agree with the comments that this is not a true 5 star hotel at all. The positives are the location, the pool area and the rooms (to an extent). From one way its only a short walk to the medina and from the other it's a short walk to the beach bars. The pool area is well maintained and very attracting. The rooms are a good size with comfy bed and powerful shower and they are very clean. However, we started off by having to change rooms as the room we were first given had a chipped bath - all the paint had come up off the bottom of the bath so it was unusable, the staff solved this pretty quickly by offering us a room of the same standard one floor above. Nevertheless, I find it shocking that a 5 star hotel would not maintain their rooms in the first place. We found the cleaning staff and concierges very friendly. Some of the breakfast staff and beach staff, less so. One day we sat on the beach beds and felt looked down on and were not treated as well as some of the other guests. This really put us off and prevented us using this area again. Not sure if this is because we are a younger/mixed couple? Overall, the hotel is lacking in a lot of areas and the Accor group need to look into this. I would definitely visit Essaouira again but would probably rent an apartment since the beach and medina have so many options anyway!

It’s okay soon, the hotel in Morocco is basically the same, and there is a small episode in the middle. We waited for the kung fu waiter in the downstairs to think that we checked out and left the things in the room, but it’s all right. Looking back, everything else is ok

In a good local hotel, wake up in the morning by the seagull, breakfast to the restaurant on the top floor, facing the sea, the waves rolling, the seagulls coiled, the sun is shining, it is difficult to describe the beauty.

The hotel is five minutes from the bus down and the central block. Because it is not the peak season, it is very quiet, the room is very clean and clean, and there is a balcony to sunbathe. Breakfast We also enjoy the sunny and beautiful coffee fresh orange juice on the roof. A seagull has been staring at the butter on our table, hahaha. The boss is a passionate Frenchman, very enthusiastic, and has been patiently pointing out the snacks on our street and the restaurants that can watch the sunset with good wines. We followed the guidance and all got very authentic food. The people of Essaouira were more enthusiastic than the Marrakech people. In short, very happy. Also enjoy it. Well... Where to Start ... I ve been taking group of 22 dancers to Morocco for more than 22 years ... This year we planned Essaouira ... As I worked in collaboration with Hotel des Iles before... I just expected the same welcome we used to get ... But it looks like they have a New Manager who seem to know all and nothing at all ... Our Food during the week was appalling and a mediocre Tasteless with tiny portions and Dry ( Hardly any sauces served) .. That s such a shame as we re in one the best countries of the world when it comes to Food and welcoming ... Plus we had consistent comments on the dancing elements.. why were people dancing ( even in our initial emails it states the purpose of the visit ?????? ( what this got to do with him .... ff..... knows) But I ll have to give credit to the Friendly staff who never fail to please the group.. I don t usually leave Reviews But I feel this needs to reach the main Boss of the Hotel ...

You know when you walk into a room and think 'oh yes!' ? That's this hotel. It's about the view, but not just about the view. That view though: right up and down the beach, perfect for sunset. Going to sleep and walking up listening to the waves roll in. The hotel is 5 minutes' walk to the Medina and close to both CTM and Supratours bus stops. Just across from the entrance is a beach bar and sun loungers. The breakfast spread is well worth getting up for with a wide selection of Moroccan and French options. The best thing though: Imane on the reception desk. She could not have been more friendly and helpful and made a great stay even better. Shkran Imane!

Riad Chbanate is amazing! Every Riad in Morocco astounds me with its style, graciousness, and comfort. With gorgeous architecture, the rooms at the Chbanate are more romantic than most, and I think it would be perfect for a honeymoon. But even at 72, I could appreciate the sensual decor. Service exudes that Moroccan warmth. Smiles abound, led by the irrepressible Samira, who was very charming. Greg and Hichen were also helpful and fun. Breakfasts were delicious and elegant, served in a lovely room off the courtyard. We had a perfect stay. The Riad Chbanate was so wonderful, I could spend my entire holiday never leaving the Riad, except for dinner and to listen to music. It is a great place for a respite.

What an amazing experience at this villa! This villa is just everything! Beautiful and well maintained space with great service. Khalid was amazing and Fatima is the sweetest! I fell in love with Essouira because of this place! Located within the Medina, you can park your car outside of the Medina for 20 dirhams a day. It’s about a 4 minute walk to the front door but the porter (Khalid) came out with a trolley to help us with our luggages. Make sure to try their dinner and Moroccan wine. Amazing! Breakfast was served at the rooftop in the morning. The room has no a/c unit but the temperature was really nice while we were there (late June). Amazing place!

Unglaublich schöner Innenhof mit Blick in den blauen Himmel mit 3 Galerien. Hier gibt’s einfaches Frühstück. Kaffee mit Heißer Milch und 2 typische marrokanische “Pfannkuchen” oder so etwas ähnliches und frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Honig, Marmeladen und Butter darf man sich selbst nehmen. Es gibt noch grüne Oliven, Tomaten u Gurken u gekochte Eier. Es gibt in einem 2ten Innenhof ein Restaurant mit offenem Kamin. Abends Ende März ist es trotzdem irgendwie schön am Feuer zu sitzen. Essen ist gut, auch der marrokanische Wein ist zu empfehlen. Auf dem Dach des Hotels kann man sich auf einfachen Loungesessel im Schatten entspannen oder auf Liegen Sonnenbaden. Die Lage ist unweit vom Südlichen Tor und perfekt gelegen. Der Charme des Hotels ist sein altes Gebäude. Dementsprechend sind aber auch, die in Neubauten standardmäßig angebotenen Ausstattungen wie Fernseher oder Klima, oft nicht mit dabei. Einfache Zimmer mit Kleinem Schrank, Tisch und Couch, Ablage und eine große Matratze. Einige Zimmer liegen nicht zur Gasse, sondern zum den Innenhöfen. Trotz hölzernen Flügelfenster und Tür teilweise nicht so hell. Das Bad spartanisch mit Toilette und Waschbecken + Dusche; jedoch bei mir ohne Duschvorhang. Durch einige Tagesausflügler aus Marrakesch teilweise auch nachts und sehr früh nicht zu überhörende Abreisende. Mir war der Flair wichtiger, als der für mich normalerweise gewohnte Luxus, den ich sonst auf Geschäftsreisen einfordere. Als Bayer kenne ich das Glockenläuten der Kirchturmuhr; hier ruft der Muezzin bei Sonnenaufgang zum 1.mal relativ leise und dann noch 4 x bis Sonnenuntergang.
