Woodville Bed and Breakfast

Heaven on earth is how we described the Woodville in! From the farm table, fresh made breakfast every morning to the prefixed dinners we scheduled each evening. The food was always fresh and delicious. The owners Stefan and Desiree were always very accommodating and hospitable as well as great conversationalist every time our paths crossed. The 20 acre estate with Vista views off in the distance, really make this tranquil setting desirable for those looking for peace away from City life or work.We look forward to our next visit here soon and four years to come.

Our fourth stay here in the last five years was as perfect, restful, delicious and interesting as all the others. Five days of perfect sunsets viewed from our own private second floor porch that overlooks the front lawn and the vineyard, or from the front porch. The stay included a complimentary taste of wines made from their own vineyard, which prompted me to buy a bottle of rose to enjoy along with the sunsets. Meticulously clean and very spacious bedroom with a super comfy bed and beautifully appointed bathroom. Exceedingly delicious breakfasts with many ingredients from their own farm and gardens and breadmaking. Late morning or noon time swimming and floating in the stunningly beautiful garden swimming pool -- priceless! And hosts Stefan and Desiree keep the conversations so interesting; they are star and warmly hosts.

Beautiful, clean, great food- Stefan was a great host. The breakfasts and Prix Fixe dinners (option) were to die for! Great stay- would recommend to anyone! Wine tasting was a wonderful touch. The landscaping and property was well maintained and beautiful!

We were guests for this past Saturday, May 3 to celebrate my birthday. Desiree and Stefan do everything in the inn. He is the chef and his cuisine was the finest I have ever had at a Bed and Breakfast. The inn is old and historic but missing the worn carpet, peeling/chipped paint, and slightly worn upholstered furniture often at old inns. There was no such wear and tear here. The entire place was immaculate and so very comfortable. We stayed in the Cedar room with two lovely wing chairs, an unexpected outdoor porch with breathtaking views, and a massive antique king bed.The shower was huge and water pressure and hot water perfect.The grounds offer spectacular gardens, a pool, and vineyards. We sampled a bottle of their wine with dinner and it was lovely.The food was superb at both breakfast and dinner; using locally sourced ingredients right down to the duck eggs in the creme brulee, which gave it a creamy beautiful texture and taste. We have stayed at many B&Bs over the years and some in the Charlottesville wine area, but this was a step above. The prices are reasonable, and the hosts so welcoming and easy to talk to. The inn only has 6 rooms and they are often full, but we will surely return, and I highly recommend.

A truly great place!

Our stay at this B&B was wonderful. We stayed here while we visited our daughter at UVA and it allowed us to hangout and play games with our daughter, her boyfriend and my mother in law.
