We stayed the night as we attended an event close by and it was the perfect experience. Customer service, the room, comfort and breakfast all 10/10. Thank you so much to all of the staff for a wonderful stay. The room we had was spacious and the decor was cosy yet modern. Breakfast really was incredible so don’t miss it!

Best pint Of Peroni in ages!! I’ve Many of pounds trying to find a decent pint around Esher Surrey area and This pint was the absolute dogs nuts Big up olly and the staff Especially Ethan Why do I have to leave at least 200 bloody characters? Just wanted to say a quick word It was a banging pint

Excellent stay at The Bear, Esher. Very welcoming team and nothing was too much trouble. The room was large and spotless and had everything you needed. Excellent meal in the restaurant and have already booked for next year. Thank you The Bear Team for our superb stay.

Really comfortable room. We managed to get in the car park even though it is quite small, and that was free. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Very well run pub. We had a lovely lunch too. Good water pressure for a nice hot shower/bath. Bottle of water and glasses provided

We booked The Bear, as part of company hospitality event at the racecourse. Also being referred by other members of the company who are based in Surrey. Parking was slightly ropey, but we did manage to get into the car park. The building is lovely, so much character. The room was nice, slightly on the small side. Nicely done, for the price point. My only real critique in the room is the pillows, new ones are needed and the shower needs fixing, so the head can be supported, without having to held. I would definitely request a rear room, as the road side is very noisy. I think the hotel really needs to print an invoice off for guests at check it. Instead, nothing is handed over. An amount is charged (which guests have no chance to rectify) then the invoice arrives 1-2 days after the stay.

Stayed at The Bear for two nights. Food was good. Room was modern and comfortable, however, minor issues let it down. Tap on bathroom sink loose and wood panelling behind bed needed a good dust. Plenty of soft towels. Pleased to see non slip mat in shower.

Another fab stay at The Bear Esher! - An annual birthday getaway for 2 years running now! Super comfy bed, crisp pure cotton bedding & gorgeous, warm room decor. Great location. Friendly and kind staff on reception, bar, restaurant and the lovely house keeping ladies! Thank you to Ethan who received us and went above and beyond. A home from home. Lovely staff, lovely room but total utter disaster of a stay!!! I’ve travelled ALOT! This has to be the worst room EVER!!!! What seemed like right on top of a karaoke bar! I had earplugs but you could still feel the base thumping through the floor until midnight! I may aswell have gone down stairs & tried to sleep on the dance floor!!!
