Review of TUI Blue Victoria We recently stayed at the TUI Blue Victoria and overall had a really enjoyable experience, with several highlights and just a few areas that could be improved. Hotel & Cleanliness The hotel itself is immaculate. Public areas are spotless, and the housekeeping staff truly are the unsung heroes of this property. They work incredibly hard, always with a smile, and help maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Their efforts really stood out and made a big difference to our stay. Location The hotel is set in a very peaceful area. While local amenities are limited—a few mini-marts and restaurants—the quiet surroundings made for a relaxing and restful break. If you're looking to switch off and enjoy some downtime, the location is ideal. Beach Access The beach is just a short stroll away, which is a big bonus. It’s easily accessible and perfect for a morning walk or an afternoon swim. Restaurants & Food Poolside Snack Bar: Surprisingly impressive. The quality of food served here was well above what you'd typically expect from a poolside venue. The menu felt thoughtfully put together, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The staff here were also fantastic—friendly, efficient, and very well organised. Main Restaurant: The team here deserves real praise. They work so hard to keep everything running smoothly and go above and beyond to ensure guests are happy. Initially, we had some concerns about the food temperature, but after speaking with the TUI rep, it was resolved promptly. The overall food offering was good—plenty of variety, quality ingredients, and we especially enjoyed the fresh salad bar. Guest Behaviour & Hotel Policies One downside was the behaviour of a few guests. Some pushed ahead at the buffet or acted quite territorially with sunbeds, which did detract from the otherwise relaxed environment. There are currently no enforced rules around the pool, which led to several guests placing towels on multiple loungers—including daybeds and grassy areas—and then leaving them unused for hours. This made it difficult for others to find a space and could really benefit from clearer hotel policy or staff intervention. More concerning was an incident involving non-guests using the facilities. We met a couple on the local bus who were staying in nearby self-catering apartments, and the next day saw them having breakfast at the hotel, using the pool, and even asking if we would use our all-inclusive wristbands to get them drinks. This is clearly not fair to paying guests. I noticed other guests had also experienced this and reported it via the TUI Blue app. The TUI rep confirmed it’s an issue being actively addressed. Final Thoughts Overall, TUI Blue Victoria is a lovely hotel with standout service from a hardworking and dedicated team. While there are a few areas for improvement—particularly around guest policies and poolside etiquette—the positives far outweigh the negativ
