Currently staying here rooms are clean the bar and pool area are quiet and peaceful. The location is ideal being a short walk to loads of bars and restaurants. The bar does an extensive steak menu that I’m told is top notch. The staff are helpful and very pleasant I would definitely recommend if you want a nice quiet break in the sun.

Hidden Gem Have stayed at these apartments for the first time having visited the resort for 15 years. The little pool area is an amazing little oasis of bliss. There’s sun beds available and a small terraced area for you to enjoy drinks. The rooms are clean and spacious with twin bedrooms, lounge, kitchenette, fridge, balcony and private bathroom with shower. Sue, Lito and the team are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend these and have already rebooked for next month.

Had such a lovely time staying here. Such a convenient place to stay. Very close to the beach and the bars. Staff at El Cortijo made is feel at home especially Sarah. The food in the nags head is lovely. If was the only place I ate the whole lot. Stayed on the first floor. Loved the balcony and how comfortable the beds were. Will definitely be coming back to stay on our next trip to Ibiza.

We are just back from 6 days staying in the apartments and loved every minute! Sarah, Sue, Gary, Lito and Arena, you made our stay so memorable, we simply didn't want to leave! The food was excellent and Lito my steak was just perfect!! We were always greeted with a smile, had plenty of laughs, drank lots of drinks but above all felt so welcome. Our apartment was totally fine for us and the large balcony a bonus! We cant wait to come back later in the year but just wanted to say a massive thank you to all......

We’ve visited es cana multiple times and I never knew accommodation of this low standard existed these days. Our room was horrible and it was stinking around the kitchenette. Patio doors were broken and lifted up from the runner every time we used it. No blackout curtains,just a thin brown curtain that didn’t fit. Pool area was nice but the loungers were filthy. Sue on the reception/shop was nice and helpful as was Sarah,one other member of staff was so rude and miserable. I get the impression that if you book through a travel agent you get the worst room. The lift broke the night before we left,and we asked if anyone could help us with our luggage to get down from the 4th floor but there wasn’t. So pity the people that were arriving and have to carry their own luggage up those stairs. The place needs a complete overhaul

Ignore the bad reviews! We were really happy with our apartment and the pool. I’d been a bit anxious about it beforehand, after reading some bad reviews. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the shower was good. We had a fan in the bedroom, which helped keep the room a bit cooler. The swimming pools, and sun lounger area, were lovely. We ran out of time to try the bar, but we’d hoped to check it out later in the week, and have a game of pool. Maybe next time! Es Cana is a lovely base, away from the crowds, but a really good bus service to other areas. Boat trips too.

Absolutely don’t bother. Save your money. We arrived at 11.30pm No one there to welcome us just our keys left on the side for us to pick up. The apartment was how can I put it disgusting dirty and the patio door did not close fully and shower did not drain away. So as a consequence we were eaten alive by mosquitoes at night!! We complained to reception, of you can call it that, about the shower and it took them 3 days to come and sort it out! If you want air con that seems to be at additional cost of 15€ per night! The pool area was very cramped and not how it looks in the photos. You seem to be absolutely fine here if you already know the owner or people in the area. If you don’t I wouldn’t bother. No one speaks to you or even asks if you are enjoying your stay!!! Very poor customer service. Im guessing the positive reviews are being written by their friends. You can tell there is absolutely no love for the place by anyone! I even tried to get a return flight 2 days early and cut my hard earned holiday short because of the short falls of this hotel. As for the towels they were like sheets of cardboard!

This was a great place to stay. Dated, but clean quiet and a great base for our stay. The Nags head did the best cheese and ham toastier. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Es Canar is a lovely resort small, but has everything you need!

The apartments are great value for money and have everything you need, clean and tidy. Susan and other staff members were very helpful and offered great customer service. The apartments do get very warm but we had fans in the room to help keep it cooler which was most helpful. The Nag’s Head pub adjoining the apartments offered delicious food and excellent value for money. We loved taking a dip in the pool at the end of each day too. Great location.
