8434 the Qasr

Treebo Trend The Qasr is situated 10 mins walking distance from the ferry terminal and approx 30min walk/ 10min tuktuk to the main ernakulam train station. It is far distant out from the main restaurants but there are shopping stalls around the area. Room: Booked a double room, it was fairly clean however the bathroom was not up to service. There was limescale on the taps, mirror was so blurry that you can not see anything through it, would be difficult to do makeup or shave a beard. Facilities: WiFi had great speed, bed made daily and basic toiletries including towels provided. Staff: The staff are exceptional in the hotel. The gentlemens spoke little English but extremely helpful and friendly. The area operational manger was fantastic, he helped extends our stay for an extra night as well as help book via phone &email another Treebo in Goa & Munnar/Kerela so that we could have a pleasant trip. Food: Breakfast was ok, starts at 8. Toast, tea, juice, eggs and Asian curry choices. No fruit, pastries or room service/dinner available . Overall: Standard stay, the staff are exceptional running the hotel, they go above and beyond.

Wifi was of very poor quality. Continuosly diconnecting from the network. Issues in bathroom like , hot water issue, and the flush was not working well. Overall all other things were upto mark. Very helpfull staff and really close to metro, railway, marine drive etc.
