The hotel is in a good location, surrounded by shops. It is in an ancient town where the protagonist of the cartoon originated. There are also many Western restaurants nearby. The hotel's breakfast dining area is limited. When checking in, the front desk will ask what time it is to have breakfast.

Very friendly staff in a top location in Erfurt, because you can easily reach everything on foot. The furnishings are getting old and there is no minibar in the room. Despite the breakfast times, the area is very small.

Haben den Jahreswechsel in Erfurt verbracht und waren von dem Hotel begeistert.
Das Haus befindet sich in zentraler aber dennoch ruhiger Lage. Von der nahegelegenen Fußgängerzone haben wir akustisch nichts mitbekommen, jedenfalls nicht in unserem Zimmer. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich, die Sauberkeit, Geräumigkeit und Ausstattung des Zimmers haben wir als sehr angenehm empfunden. Ablagemöglichkeiten und Steckdosen sind in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden, was anderenorts oftmals nicht der Fall ist. Das schmackhafte Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut sortiert.
Das Hotel verfügt eine Tiefgarage, sodaß man sein Fahrzeug sicher und trocken abstellen kann. Die Zufahrt dorthin war etwas knifflig, was aber wohl eher am Navi lag, dafür kann ja das Hotel nix.
Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Bei nächster Gelegenheit werden wir gern wieder in diesem Hotel buchen.

Perfekt gelegen, nahe dem Bahnhof und mitten in der Altstadt macht das Hotel auf den ersten Blick von aussen wenig Eindruck. Erst muss der Gast noch in der Gasse stehend die Gegensprechanlage finden und sich bei der Reception melden. Dann hat er sich im nicht sehr einladenden Eingangsbereich zurechtzufinden und über den Lift oder Treppe zum Empfang hochzugehen. Aber dann wird das Hotel sehr schnell gemütlich und sehr freundlich. Sehr einladend und erscheint der Loungebereich mit Bar, gleich bei der Reception. Die verwinkelten Gänge und Etagen sind für den moderne Hotels gewohnten Gast vielleicht etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und umständlich. Aber die Ausstrahlung des mit schönen, sehr modernen Zimmern ausgestatteten Altstadthotels macht alles wett! Die Nacht verläuft sehr ruhig, das trotz des weihnächtlichen Treibens. Das Frühstück ist zwar nicht gerade umwerfend, aber auf jeden Fall ok. Preislich scheint mir das Hotel zwar nicht gerade günstig, was ich aber der Weihnachtszeit mit dem gerade stadtfindenden Weihnachtsmarkt zuschreibe. Fazit: Gerne empfehle ich das Hotel Alma am Anger weiter!
