Hotel am Schloßberg

Angenehmes Hotel, leicht ausserhalb von Erding. S-Bahn Station 5 Geh-Min entfernt. Zimmer sehr schön , aussergewöhnlich und gepflegt. WC + Dusche o.k. Personal und Service o.k., Sauberkeit ok. Betten bereiteten durch zu dünne Matratzen oder zu hohen Bettrand Schwierigkeiten. Sauna klein aber ok. und sauber. Zur Wiesen Zeit Sonntags chaotische Zustände an der Kaffeemaschine. Warteschlange zwischen 5 und 10 Min. Ausfall der Maschine zudem, weil nicht genügend Kaffeepulver in der Maschine war( nicht nur einmal). Bei der Abreise wurde ich informiert, dass man auch Filterkaffee aus Küche hätte haben können. Früstücksbuffet/- raum für diesen Andrang viel zu klein und eng. Allgem. Frühstücksangebot schwach befriedigend . Sonntags gab es frühzeitig keine Brezen mehr. Weisswürste ? Rührei von frischen Eiern? Brötchen einfach nur zu groß, pappig und schwammig. Bayerische Semmeln sollten knusprig sein.

Warnung an alle Familien mit Kindern: ich habe mit meinen beiden Kindern gebucht. Ein Kind wurde leider kurzfristig schwer krank (Fieber, Durchfall, Erbrechen….). Ich musste deshalb mit Vorlage von einem ärztlichen Attest leider den Urlaub absagen. Das Hotel hat trotzdem die vollen Kosten erhoben. Ich bin total enttäuscht. Jedem mit einem Kleinkind kann bei kurzfristiger Krankheit dies passieren. Die Geschäftsleitung hat 100 % der Kosten abgebucht, für KEINE Gegenleistung! Im Gegenteil, wenn das Hotel das Zimmer weiter vermietet, wird es sogar doppelt bezahlt und doppelt verdient!! Das ist der Knaller. Warnung an alle Familien: Hotel meiden, das kann richtig teuer werden! Familienfreundlichkeit: Katastrophe da ABZOCKE!

Nice hotel, very clean and nice rooms. The only thing that could be improved is the space where the breakfast buffet is set up, it's cramped and the background noise is a bit loud. In summary, we'll be back. Because the proximity to Therme Erding is great. Parking opposite the hotel

As a single traveler, I got a very large room on the second floor. Everything was well equipped, I pushed the seating area to the window (French balcony) and was able to read my messages thanks to the free WiFi. Large breakfast buffet - very good value for money.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel am Schloßberg for one night and I can only say positive things! When I arrived I was pleased to see that there was plenty of parking available and that it was free of charge. This made the check-in process very convenient and stress-free. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful and I was checked in quickly and easily. Our bathroom seemed to have been recently renovated and was very attractive. It was obvious that the hotel placed a lot of emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene. The room furnishings were in keeping with the style of a castle and were impeccably maintained. The beds were comfortable and I was able to spend a restful night. Another highlight was the large TV in the room. It was a pleasure to have a variety of channels to choose from and to sit back and relax after a long day. The only small criticism would be that the TV should have internet access so that you could log into Netflix or Prime if necessary. I would also like to highlight the delicious breakfast at the Hotel am Schloßberg. The buffet offered a variety of options, from rolls, which were good, to a selection of cold cuts and cheese, the quality of which I would rate as very good. The location of the Hotel am Schloßberg is also remarkable. Due to the proximity to the Erding thermal baths, we had a short 5-minute drive. All in all, our stay at the Hotel am Schloßberg was absolutely first class. I can highly recommend it to any traveler looking for comfortable and pleasant accommodation. The clean rooms, comfortable beds, the quick and uncomplicated reception and the free parking are just some of the reasons why I would recommend this hotel without reservation. Many thanks to the entire team at the Hotel am Schloßberg for this uncomplicated stay. PS. There is an Italian restaurant next door, but since we didn't eat there, I unfortunately can't give a review.

I was passing through, after landing at Munich airport in the late evening (it is about 20 km south of the airport car park). The single room is a bit small, but other than that everything was really good. New structure, but in the spirit of Bavarian tradition. Extremely well looked after, attention to every single detail aimed at creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment. Which you kind of expect in these parts but which isn't so easy to find at this level. The staff was also particularly kind and professional. Very high quality/price ratio. It will be my point of reference in the future for my travels.
