I had a wonderful dinner at Basilico in the Rotana Hotel, and I have to say — everything was exceptional. The ambiance was cozy and elegant, the food was delicious, and the service was absolutely top-notch. I want to give a special shoutout to Nermin, who took care of our table. She was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive from the moment we arrived. You could tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience. Her warm attitude and excellent service really made the evening memorable. Thank you, Nermin, for making our visit so enjoyable! Basilico is lucky to have you. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.

The Rotana is my favorite hotel that I have been to in Erbil. The rooms are wonderful and clean. The restaurants are amazing, especially the Basilico Italian restaurant. Nermin the hostess is always a pleasure with a smile on her face and she knows the menu well and can even help with pairings. Sadiq, one of the drivers I also a very friendly and professional escort through the city of Erbil. Zana at the front desk is always ready to help you with anything you need and another friendly face. I have stayed here at least 10 times now and have always had a great stay. More than the wonderful amenities and ambiance its the staff that make the Rotana feel like home away from home.

Amazing staff and very welcoming. Yasmeen is simply incredible, always smiling and super helpful. Room are very clean and the bed is comfortable. Basilico, the italian restaurant, has good food and services such as dry cleaning is great.

I recently stayed at a hotel Rotana in Erbil and although I was sick while there, the staff there took excellent care of me. Ghazel, the front office manager, is always kind and welcoming and very accommodating. Basilico waitress Nermin was very compassionate and helpful. She had a chef prepare a special dish that wasn't even on the menu to assist me. That was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. I also like to thank Yasmeen from the 12th floor lounge, who always greet you with a smile and take care of all your needs. I sincerely appreciate your kindness and empathy, your hospitality, and your ability to make everyone feel like they are a member of a single, large family. It is always a delight and a very great experience to stay at Erbil's Rotana Hotel.
