Best Western Rama Inn

Let me start by saying we are best western reward members and stay at a lot of Best Westerns. The front line staff did as good of a job as they could. However we had originally booked a double queen and were getting in late from Idaho as we were attended a benefit auction for my family. At 6pm we got a call to pay for the room or they would give it away as they were fully booked and needed the space. Not our problem. We were not set to check in until after 10pm. We paid then at 6pm. When we went to check in found out our room had been downgraded to a single queen in a handy cap room. Not at all what we needed as we were traveling with teenage children. We were given a "complimentary" roll away and it was mentioned multiple times we would normally have to pay for the roll away, but he was doing us a favor. We were asked to pay again for the room we had on hold and had paid for 5 hours earlier The roll away blanket was stained, the room dark, was old and smelled. The shower has no curtains and water gets everywhere with zero pressure or heat regulation. The floor was so bad we felt we had to wear our shoes in the room with rips and stains. The next day we were given a double queen but the owner and manager did not care about the issue. Further the double queen backs the train tracks which was incredibly loud. The whole hotel was loud in fact and you could hear people walking and talking upstairs. Breakfast was what you would expect for a BW, staff did a good job keeping up with a full hotel. Shout out to your front desk team who understood and did what they could to make it better and the housekeeping staff worked hard to get us into the new room as quickly as possible but it's the worst best western we have ever stayed at and we exclusively travel with best western when we can. Very disappointed in the owner and leadership of the hotel. I would drive the extra time to stay at any other hotel the next time we are in the area. Only giving 1 star because the actual front line team were awesome.

Be careful I got bitten from bed bugs on Room 122 I talk to the staff about it i got bitten few places legs stomach arms and right hand no refund good staff was super helpful but be careful I hope I don't get sick or something about this is my firts time I get bed bugs bite on my life not good experience I washed all my clothes on the nearby laundry I hope I didn't bring anything with me on my bags I did took shower before I left and is how I found how many places got bitten I stated getting inching different places i don't stay on motels or hotels i prefer to sleep on my car but today I guess I did mistake staying on motel

Quiet

This hotel is horrible. Stopped by upon arrival into town after receiving my Welcome text and was advised that they would charge a $25.00 for checking in at 3:00 (Yes 3:00) and subsequently stated they don't have the ability to store our luggage. Later that night we wanted to enjoy the hot tub and it was cold. This was a horrible choice and will not be staying at a Best Western in the future.

Quiet, friendly staff, nice continental breakfast

The property was very loud train going right by the window. The toilet didn’t flush and the pool was freezing. We were charged a $20 early checkin fee even though the room was already ready upon arrival. Housekeeping kept knocking on the door despite the do not disturb sign and the back door didn’t open.
