We went to Door County for a birthday celebration and sadly this is the first negative review I have had to write. We arrived on Friday 9/12, and the check-in process went well, the room was nice, and everything seemed ok. We were told that the housekeeping service would come in daily and remake the beds, cleanup the room, remove and replace any used towels and empty the garbage and resupply any coffee and toiletries needed. This was true only the first day. The second day we were out for the day and came back late and noticed that nothing had been touched? We went to bed and figured they would come back the next day. Nope...nothing. We had to empty our trash and reuse the "towels, etc. I had to go to the office get my own coffee supplies, etc. The only response I got was "Sorry"...help yourself to what you need. No....what is your room number? so, we will make sure they service you tomorrow. Nope...didn't happen. The worst part was the extremely loud pipe banging noise that began off and on from 12:00 midnight to around 4 am the last night we were there. It was intermittent and lasted 30 minutes each time it happened. No sleep for us that night. We went to the office to report it and were told.....we have had that happen in the past...and the obligatory "Sorry".....Very dismissive and after I explained the lack of room service and the noise that kept us up the response was an amazing," Sorry but we hope you will come back" followed by a smile? Very disappointing.....customer service? I hope future potential visitors have a better experience than we did... not a good birthday weekend. . They seem to not to care about living up to what they promise they will do. We will definitely not be returning here!!!

Very comfortable hotel with indoor pool and jacuzzi. Our room was updated and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern, but somewhat small. Breakfast was OK with good coffee. The hotel keeps coffee available all day so the wing with the office has a pleasant coffee smell. The hotel is right across from the bay so the view is beautiful.

We loved this property! The buildings are angled in a vee so that every room has a water view from their patio/balcony. Everything in the room was clean and in good condition. The bed, pillows, chairs, and couch were very comfortable. The linens were good, and the towels were thicker, plusher, and more absorbent than most hotels. The bathroom was very clean and had good water pressure. The continental breakfast had plenty of options: an egg, cheese, and sausage sandwich (microwavable), yogurt, hard boiled eggs, orange and apple juices, apples, bananas, pears, oatmeal, cold cereal and milk (whole and 2%), bagels, English muffins, cream cheese, butter, jams, peanut butter, syrup, and assorted pastries. The homemade waffles were excellent! The wine (from local wineries), cheese, and cracker daily reception from 5-7 in the lobby was a nice bonus. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Tom is the best! We will be back!!

Great resort!
My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pine Grove up until we lost power! A terrible storm passed through and we lost power because of it. Not Pine Grove's fault at all, but it was tough with no AC, running water, flushable toilets, etc. We left early on our last day because of this. We will definitely return to Pine Grove and hopefully no terrible storms!

We would like a harder bed. Way too soft. Ceiling fan above the bed would be nice. Walk in shower would be helpful.

We booked a stay here last minute when our other reservation was cancelled, and ew ended up feeling really fortunate. Our room was super clean and nice and there was a balcony, which was great. We walked into town from here- it's very close to Wilson's and other restaurants/coffee shops. The screened in area on the beach was a very relaxing place to hang out. Would totally stay here again.

The manager and all staff are so professional and friendly. 💯 recommend this resort ! Fresh baked cookies , coffee and tea. Beautiful sunsets right across the street.

Every room has a great view. The property is very clean. It has a good amenities. The pool is very nice. We enjoyed the beach access. This was a great place to stay and we would gladly go back!

Wonderful stay! Only reason for 4/5 stars was due to the strong chlorine smell in the pool area.
