We reserved the entire hotel to celebrate my milestone birthday, which was made possible due to the small number of rooms. It was amazing to have the whole place to ourselves, making it feel like we lived there for two days— complete with a staff to take care of us! The experience was packed with activities, from visiting their vineyard, Vena Cava, and savoring the food and unique architecture, to an exciting, emotional, scavenger hunt across the beautiful property! Each stop on the scavenger hunt were events I had accomplished in my life. Champagne followed and of course, Felix (best manager ever!!) poured Veuve Clicquot! We enjoyed yoga, swimming, and peaceful morning walks, which left us feeling both relaxed and energized. Animalón, a Michelin-starred restaurant is just minutes away, with more dining options nearby, and the property’s own restaurant will be opening soon. Breakfasts which come with the room, were a highlight as the food and the setting were superb. Best of all their wonderful soaps, lotions, and shampoos, and of course the wine are available for purchase right-on-site!

Breathtaking view, amazing fresh food. Fernanda provided phenomenal customer service, very attentive! We traveled to Valle for a wedding and were very disappointed in the arranged ground transportation. We previously arranged with Felix to be picked up in San Diego airport, instead he sent driver to TJ airport. When I called he simply asked us to cross the border. This was new to us since we’re from the East Coast. After two taxi rides we finally figured it out and crossed. He then suggested always using his drivers, since Uber doesn’t go that far up. Since we were there for a wedding we didn’t want to risk not having a ride back at night time so we did. The fees they charged were outrageous., 10xs more than Uber. The wedding venue was less than 20 minutes. Fee to La Cocina de Dona Estela was $180 USD. The two times we called an Uber we successfully had them pick us up at hotel. They were even shocked to hear the ridiculous prices he quoted us. We felt like prisoners without a car.

Was one of the most relaxing weekends of all time! Staff was perfect and so kind and caring and attentive (Thanks Fernanda!) the owners took time to talk about their beautiful place and how they evolved. the Villa was so comfortable and all details are well thought out and executed. Don't hesitate to stay if you are heading to this region! Its a Gem! please note there is a dirt road to access this property but dont let that deter you! its easy to navigate fully secure and a very fun weekend for us and the adult kids. Oh the food is amazing! I could write a whole review about the honey, yogurt, chilaquiles with green sauce and so on but will save that for our next review when we revisit!

This lovely inn was a delight to stay in. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, beautiful architecture, peaceful pool & delicious breakfasts. With no locks on the doors, it truly feels like you are a guest in a friend’s stately home. It’s rustic, but comfortable and touches like their art & book collections, freshly baked treats and frolicking dogs made made the visit great. We were especially impressed by the wonderful Fernanda who was at the helm during our 3 night stay and went out of her way to take great care of us by recommending a pretty hike, amazing restaurants, organizing massages and even helping us to deal with a flat tire (thank you very much!) The wine bar & food truck on the property is super cool & delicious for a wine tasting, lunch or drinks before dinner. I highly recommend this unique and special property!

This was our first visit to the hotel, but hopefully not our last. We've been visiting Valle Guadalupe on/off for over 10 years now, and La Villa del Valle has always been on our list to stay. It met all of our expectations - the staff is friendly/attentive (especially Fernanda and Felix), room is comfortable/quiet and the breakfast each morning was the perfect way to start the day...not rushed and very hearty. It was a little overcast to enjoy the pool area, but it is a great spot to relax. My only suggestion would be to change the shower head for better water flow, but that is a very minor one. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We cannot say enough about the amazing stay at this excellent little villa. Javier is simply the best host you could ask for, Cesar - who is the incredible chef for the hotel and the outstanding Troika gourmet food truck at the winery, Edith - who wonderful to meet and provided more great valley recos, and Eileen + Phil, who have owned the property for ~20yrs and have classic understated taste in everything they do. Perfect location to take it the entire valley and all it has to offer or to simply stay on their gorgeous grounds to enjoy the pool, the winery (Vena Cava), Troika or to relax on the villa property.
