Antica Dimora Historic Building

This place was really lovely! First, I was very warmly welcomed after an exhausting day on the bike so that I immediately felt at home. I also received very tailored tips for my short stay. The room was fantastic: tastefully furnished, quiet, and with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was also super luxurious with a large choice of different cakes, fruits etc. Highly recommended! We spent our first night in Sicily here and received such a warm welcome, we arrived later in the evening but the communication with Patrizia was great, and when we couldn’t quite find the bnb in the dark, Giuseppe came to find us! Our room was lovely, clean comfy, great location, and breakfast delicious. Patrizia personality though is what added to our experience. She also gave us some very good recommendations of what to see locally, but best of all the recommendation for great pizza and glass of red wine on our later arrival! Would have no hesitation in recommending this bnb .

The B&B may have been a nice place to stay, but the rudeness of the owner compelled me to give it a poor rating. Members of my family had covid and I was honest enough to share that with her (most people don't even test, let alone share the results). She wouldn't serve us breakfast, even in our rooms. One morning she gave us a 2 Euro coupon, which didn't even cover a pastry and coffee. The next morning nothing. The other places we stayed at during the covid nightmare in Sicily and Malta were very sympathetic and accommodating while making everyone safe; went out of their way to help us out, bringing us food (even dinner!) to our rooms. The owner just wanted us to leave so we felt very unwelcome. The facility appeared to be well maintained.
