Strange We arrived at 2pm to be greeted by the owner and taken to our room which was spacious and very clean. We were then offered a cup of tea which we politely declined as we were in a rush to get to central London in time for a get together. First impression really nice place. Then it became a bit strange. My husband went downstairs to collect a front door key only go find the owner with two other ladies sunbathing in swimwear/underwear in the garden. The owner asked one of the ladies to get us a key and she had to ask which one? I was then assured that all the keys were the se for the front door only. No way of locking our bedroom door from the outside. We then went to leave and as we went through the front door my husband was asked to move the car from the drive as this was where her brother parked his van. I then had a quick conversation with the owner and said that we would be back later so probably wouldn't see her later. We arrived back around midnight and no one was up as we expected It was then we discovered that there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room which we were expecting from the advert and the bottle of water on the bedside tables was not in a sealed container. We did not drink it. The bed was really soft and uncomfortable for us both. It was 2 soft single mattresses with a memory foam topper again not what we expected from the description. The pillow on the other hand was rock hard. Next day no one around at 9am.We left.
