Nice compacked room but no mirror in the room could do one on the wall,takeaway the fridge and put a small wardrobe there instead of putting your clothes behind the door.Also i could'nt sleep as a machine was going off and on it sounded it was coming from the bar.My room was no4.it wasnt the fridge making the noise.Also no toilet roll holder so you have to put on the floor or behind the loo.

This is one of those that needs a "good" rating between average and very good. This is a pub with some rooms, so don't expect the full on hotel experience. Having said that, the bar is lively - a bit limited on ales, but a reasonable selection of lagers. They don't serve food, but there are some nice eateries nearby. Street parking wasn't an issue either. There is plenty of space in the surrounding streets. The room I had was clean, very comfortable, but quite small. However, as a single traveller on a one night stopover, this wasn't an issue for me. Would I stay here agin? Yes, probably.

A very nice and comfy hotel. The room was very clean, the fridge and kettle were handy, and it even had some nice snacks provided. They don't serve food, but there are lots of really good pubs and restaurants in the area. The staff were very nice and helpfull too.

Room and bathroom were big and fairly modern however details like towel rails and toilet roll holder in the bathroom (non-existing) and a full-sized mirror in the bedroom (only a a tiny one) had been overlooked and would have been nice. The bathroom toiletries advertised were a half empty hand wash bottle on the basin and a half empty shower gel bottle in the shower. A private kitchen was also advertised as included, not sure what they meant by private as someone was using it (I didn't), perhaps they just meant people couldn't just walk in from the street and use it. On arrival, room and bathroom weren't overly clean and there was no cleaning at all during my stay. The room was on the main road and the traffic noise went on till very late and started again very early in the morning. Really hard to sleep. An altogether disappointing experience

This hotel is really a bar with rooms above .The bar is lively with sports showing .The rooms are very well appointed and are of high standard .there is no food but each room has tea and coffee with cereal and orange juice so you can make a breakfast in your room . There is no parking but I did not find parking in the street nearby difficult. Overall very comfortable stay .lots of restaurants within walking distance .2 nights here for one cost me £258.00.

Stayed here and was really pleased. Very clean room with comfy double bed. Layed on a nice selection for in-room breakfast, tea coffee etc. nice en-suite shower room. Tv with freeview. Would recommend . Rooms above the pub but there was no noise.

Lovely clean modern room with immaculate bedding. Nice complimentary tea, coffee and breakfast cereals. Our room had TV, fridge and lovely clean en suite bathroom. Staff were nice and friendly, would definitely use again and highly recommend.
