Why are the beds too high? The bed was too tall for my husband to gracefully climb in

Our first room was disgusting. Under the toilet lid was full of pee and bowel movement and it smelled. The carpet in the room was badly stained and had not been vacuumed. Our second room, the same night, was also smelly and the carpets were stained, dirty and full of crumbs and dirt. I will never stay in this one again. It needs upgrading and cleaning very badly. A definite F-in my book.

The Hampton Inn offers standard accommodations and a basic breakfast, but if you’re looking for something special, I highly suggest taking the short drive to Skippers — just a 15-minute drive away. Spring Church B&B offers a stunning, upscale experience at a similar price point, with incredibly welcoming hosts and five-star hospitality. The rooms are immaculate, the decor is elegant, and the setting is peaceful and charming, surrounded by farm animals and beautiful grounds. With plush bedding and amenities like multiple dining and seating areas, a theater room, a billiards room, and the best hospitality ever, it’s truly a retreat in a class of its own. Rates at Spring Church B&B start around $149-$179, which is a steal, and it’s well worth the drive for a much more personalized and memorable stay.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Condition of room need updating. Carpet was stained and room had a slight odor.
