Service poor, seems a halfway house for convicts - multiple within the hotel wearing ankle tags (the prison kind) Lots of shouting, hotel in a poor state ! Avoid

The hotel is sadly very much in need of some major maintenance. The room was reasonably clean, with clean towels and bedding. We ordered breakfast, however after having to find someone by knocking on the kitchen door to 1) ask for some bacon and eggs as all had gone and 2) taking the bread back as it was extremely mouldy. The man in the kitchen was not happy about this. At this point we gave up on the breakfast. We were supposed to get transport to the airport but this didn't happen. We had already paid for this. When we complained the man behind reception said we would get a refund but as it was a Sunday we would have to wait till Monday. Two weeks later we are still waiting.

This very isolated hotel's only attraction for us was it's airport proximity. Alas there was no shuttle to the hotel on a rainy Saturday afternoon, but there was at 4:30 am on a Sunday when it mattered. Full of travellers there for same reason so very peaceful.

Great place to stay overnight
Adequate place to stay over night when travelling from Stansted. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. Food a little disappointing for the price they were charging.

Comfy, clean hotel.
Beautiful hotel, the room felt more like a studio flat than a room it was huge, a little outdated but very clean, with all working amenities.
Bed id say a small double so keep that in mind when booking, staff veey friendly and helpful.
They offer a shuttle service to the airport for £15 for 1 person or £18 for 2 people which is cheaper than any other uber or taxi service.
Offer breakfast at a cheap price too which smelt amazing but sadly we didnt book it, cans of pop and cake on reception which is available to buy aswell.
The front is clean and inviting with a seating area inside and out, for the price we paid id highly recommend this hotel.
