We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this beautiful hotel we booked here as attending a family wedding nearby , staff couldn’t do enough for you . Couldn’t fault anything about this hotel . Thank you for making our stay a memorable one .

We had a jet 2 week holiday at this lovely hotel. It really is a great find. We had a superior grove room, which was well equipped and spacious but lacking in a view. I think the main building has the better views, but much smaller rooms. As ever it’s a balance. The new sky deck bar and pool is a great addition, the views are incredible. We had B&B which suited us, as there are many restaurants within a 5 min walk. The breakfasts are served in the ground floor restaurant and overlooking the bay. Everyone was very welcoming, we feel that we had found a little gem of a hotel and will be back.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely week here. Our room was more than adequate for us. Small balcony with a glimpse of Elounda and the sea. The staff are really nice people and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was ok with all the usual suspects but lacked fresh fruit other than melon. They were mainly canned. Freshly squeezed orange juice was very good. It is well placed to walk along the promenade into the centre of town. There is their private shingle beach across the road which holds about 20 sun beds, of which nearly half were reserved by selfish people for longer than the permitted 30 minutes. It was the same at the pool. Nice bar on 4th floor with views over the bay.

The hotel was in a great location, right on the (shingle) beach. Our room was a decent size, however the bathroom was tiny with no fan or window therefore there was always a damp and musty smell in it. Also there was no shower curtain so the water went over the sink area every time it was used. As others have mentioned, there weren't enough beds around the pool or on the beach, however this wasn't really the hotel's fault, there just isn't enough space for more. Breakfast was average, however we had an evening meal at the restaurant twice during our stay and the food was delicious (can particularly recommend the beef cheeks). Staff were generally friendly and helpful, however it was disappointing that, despite asking on the first day, we weren't able to have a late check out from our room. We were given a room to use for 30 minutes to change and have a shower, I'm hoping this wasn't a guest room as it was tiny with no outside space.

I have visiting this hotel for many years and have been very happy, the staff are very nice and friendly ( especially Poppy in the Sky Bar) . The main problem over the last few years has been the pool area and the sun bed reservations. This year was particularly bad, there are signs regarding this issue saying if beds had towels on them they would be removed if no one appeared after 30 minutes. There were a few days this year that as much as 10 beds had towels and no one turned up for 2-3 hours. It was mentioned to reception by a few customers but no one of authority turned up to check their policy. I probably won’t go back

Lovely hotel....room we had was fairly spacious ( twin room ) very much lacking drawers / storage space . Cleaning staff amazing 👏 bar staff ( Poppy ) lovely + pleasant . Breakfast is what u would get in most hotels . Beautiful scenic Bay at front of hotel. Only gripe ...and this was the same for lots of people we spoke to was lack of sunbeds. 2 people actually came to pool at 9am and took over 6 beds + 4 beanbags !!!! They then disappeared for almost 2 hrs !! Shocking !!! Management need to address this . No use putting signs up ....these people either can't read or just ignore them . It's a shame people are not willing to return to this hotel because of this .

A fabulous boutique hotel, we had a side sea view room on the second floor, our room was very contemporary and clean the views from our balcony were spectacular. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice ,we loved the fresh orange juice machine and eating breakfast on the pier with amazing views. The hotel staff were all friendly, we will definitely return.

This was our first time staying in Elounda and Akti olous. The holiday got off to a brilliant start as we were upgraded to a junior suite with spectacular views! The room was comfortable clean, with good air conditioning kettle/coffee machine iron with ironing board and toiletries to use. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the massive balcony, which was just heaven. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and we ate it whilst sitting out by the sea, the staff are all pleasant and hard working and a special shout out to the barman who worked in the Sky bar as he made the best cocktails, we had a few cocktails at the bar before heading out again the views are spectacular! We spent a few afternoons relaxing on a lounger on the small beach area belonging to the hotel (the pool area seemed nice but we were never getting a lounger there unless up at the crack of dawn) which to be honest did not bother us. There is also a bar/restaurant next door, and you can use their loungers if you buy a drink. Akti olous is a small quieter hotel with a mainly older clientele which suited us fine it is a very pleasant walk in to Elounda with lots of restaurants and tavernas on the way, we had a lovely stay and I would definately return.
