The room was nice, good size and the bed was comfortable. There is a capsule coffee machine in the room. Breakfast is a separate menu, delicious and not expensive. The hotel is next to the Thames.

Just arrived at this lovely hotel on the bank of the river Thames by Hampton Court palace . On arrival was greeted by the lovely Ashlee who was so bubbly . A glass of complimentary wine was great fully accepted . And we were shown to our well appointed room . Wow the hotel is so old bits and pieces on all levels . Now sitting with my young lady having a drink by the side of the river Thames . Thinking about all the history here . Great place do visit

We stayed for 2 nights and were upgraded by the lovely ladies on reception who also provided complimentary Pimms as we had arrived early. Our room had a private courtyard and was spacious. A number of areas in the hotel need attention, especially the carpets. Our bathroom had some sort of carpet / jute matting which is unhygienic and revolting. Robes were provided but unfortunately no slippers which would have been appreciated because of the carpet situation. A pet hate is when you pay a decent amount of money for a hotel and breakfast isn't included. Location is great, especially if visiting Hampton Court. Parking is limited and you may find you are blocked in by cars parked behind you, this shouldn't be a problem as there's a chap employed to move vehicles when required. The problem arose when A) he was nowhere to be found B) the person parked behind us had not left their car key with reception. Very annoying. Luckily my husband is an excellent driver by driving over the pavement with millimetres between him and other vehicles was able to free our car.

First impression the pleasant and friendly staff.Beuitfull decore. We had afternoon tea. The cakes and sandwiches were excellent Only negative was being served Champagne and a pot of tea at the same time. The table was very small Would recommend a visit. We had a lovely time staying at mitre hotel starting from the friendly welcome at reception to the efficient and enjoyable services at the restaurant breakfast and special event dinner " taste of OZ" . The hotel is at the Thames river bank it's excellent location just opposite the historic Hampton court palace and a short distance to retail shops at Kingston upon Thames as well as proximity to Sandown and Kempton park race tracks. I like to point out the exceptional efficiency and professionalism of Lily at reception who helped to address and sort out our need, Thanks to her and the other staff for their pleasant affability which made our staying very nice. We will definitely return to the Mitre hotel.

The Mitre is quite possibly the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed at. I have been to many hotels and absolutely fell in love with this hotel. It is so charming, cozy and just every detail is so amazing. The staff were great, the bar and restaurants, food etc are
Incredible with stunning river views. The location was amazing as we were there to tour Hampton Court, which is literally across the street! I will plan a trip next time around staying at this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay whilst walking the Thames Path. The hotel is full of character, and the dinner was delicious, but it was the staff that made our stay so special. In particular, Jaya on reception could not have been more charming and helpful, thank you!
