Stayed on points so I don't know if everyone got hit with this daily $8 fee or it's just a penalty for using Choice Privileges points. I believe it's ostensibly to cover the free dixie cups of ice cream, hot soup, and iced coffee available in the lobby. Didn't partake of any of it so didn't really want to pay for it. Otherwise no complaints. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Best cable tv channel selection I've seen in years. Beautiful landscaping and plantings. Staff helpful and pleasant.

We drove from Boston Airport to Comfort Inn Ellsworth - Bar Harbor. We stayed one night. Next day we drove to Acadia NP and stayed in Bar Harbor. The hotel was well maintained. We got free soup and free ice cream. The breakfast was good. The internet WIFI was good.

Was here at the end of July 2024 while visiting Bar Harbor. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. The rooms and the hotel were very clean. Breakfast was ok. It is located on the main road, but still, it was quiet. Parking was convenient.

The hotel is in a decent location, about halfway between Bar Harbour and Bangor so not too far from either. Hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is decent, it is the usual breakfast provided by most hotels. Would recommend.

When I asked the front desk why there was a flashing green light in the bathroom exhaust fan while checking out, I was told they will notify Maintenace. I asked if it could be a camera and the response was, we don't put cameras in rooms. I replied that I didn't say you and they made more denials. I called after returning home and asked about it again, only be told we don't put cameras in rooms. They protest too much.

The hotel is on the main road through the small town but nevertheless was quiet. The front desk staff were helpful, efficient and friendly. The property has two floors with an elevator. The room was perfectly adeqaute - large, comfortable and clean. It had a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The only minuses about the property were that housekeeping failed to service my room on one occasion - the manager has subsequently apologised for this; and that some breakfast supplies had run out when I arrived close to the end of the breakfast time. Breakfast itself was nothing to write home about - standard hot and cold options.

The staff at this location is probably the friendliest group of people I have ever stayed with . They were helpful and always willing to go above and beyond their duties. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

I would not recommend this hotel, they have hidden amenities that are charged to your credit card and we were charged a smoking fee off 250$ which we sent medical records to the fact that we have never smoked and the manager Michelle could care less if we would never stay there again. Real customer service (not)

Very nice staff, room was immaculate, TV huge, king bed was very comfortable, room very clean, bit pricy of a room ($340 CDN for us )but overall a nice place to sleep..a nice touch were all the pictures around the hotel of local scenes, also breakfast was good as well, lots of selction and not too busy..
