My husband and I made reservations for the campground for one night. We pulled in the driveway and proceeded to drive around the campground. There were several old, abandoned, run-down buildings on the property and many permanent RV’s. The sites are piled on top of each other. I got the “ick” as soon as we entered the loop. The term “resort” is a stretch. We were extremely disappointed as the photos online portray a very different environment. Thank goodness we are Harvest Host members!

Not structurally sound, cats everywhere, outdoor building is run down, paint peeling all over. Advertised pictures are very deceptive! Pet friendly room barely for a queen bed, dirty…horrible and disappointing experience. Hope they renovate. There is potential!

My husband and I went to Ellerbe Springs Inn we stayed 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves. we recommend you go and check it out. And if you like Ghost you're going to love it there. We will be going back soon. The owners are also wonderful and friendly. E Voelpel

Wife and I just wanted a night away and chose Ellerbe. The new owners were so nice and each room has a theme. We plan on going back for the New Year's party. Every thing was clean and tidy. Not much in town to do. It died years ago when the bypass went in. Need to support small towns.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at the inn. Our room was beautiful and the king size bed very comfortable. It was nice to have a flat screen tv in our room. The internet service was great. The owners are super nice and helpful. There were multiple games to play in the game room. There is a pool table and huge tv with seating in another room. They serve a wonderful continental breakfast including yogurt, fruit, pumpkin bread, brownies, bagels, donuts, coffee/tea, juices, milk, and cereal. We will definitely be coming back!
