We were here for a wedding and the grounds are beautiful for an outdoor wedding. Room was nice and clean, but the halls smell like an old building. Food was good and wait staff was friendly. Located near town, you are just a few blocks away from some cute shops and places to eat as well. Overall a good experience

Nice resort. 2 complaints— The signs everywhere saying “only take two towels!!!” are off putting and aggressive. There should be complimentary coffee in the lobby. You have to wait in a half hour line to get coffee at the bar in the lobby in the morning. It’s inefficient and aggravating. Have carafes of free coffee and milk in the morning. That should be expected at a resort like this. Our unit did not have an AC unit in the bedroom.

Elkhart Lake is a beautiful area to experience. The Osthoff Resort is an average plus resort located in a prime setting. Service is ok plus, rooms are ok plus, but be wary of their deceptive pricing and specials. We thought we were booking a room for a special get away for my wife and I that included a bottle of sparkling wing, chocolate covered strawberries and a $30 a day food and beverage allowance, Turns out, NOT, apparently i booked a different special online even though i was checking out on the same page of the offer. My fault, LOL! The money is not the issue, it's the deceptiveness of the advertising and the lack of the living up to the offer once i confronted them. I may go back there, but it's hard to get past deceptive advertising and lies. So if you are going to stay here, call and make the reservation and do not do it online because you will probably buy something you did not want. PS, rooms are starting to get dated, and the restaurants onsite are just ok plus. Out of 5 stars, I would rate our experience at 2.5 stars.

This resort is beautifully maintained with very a friendly staff. We used the pools and restaurants. The lake is super clean and clear. The little town is very charming with stores, coffee shops and an ice cream shop all within walking distance. There was also a band playing each night at the lake . We enjoyed our stay in the impeccably clean condo and will return again for a visit!

This is an overpriced average resort that really caters to families. The spa is overpriced and in need of repairs. There is no designated area for the "romantic getaway" they showed in pictures. The food scene is nothing like advertised. This is an average resort in a small town (nice) priced like a big city 5 star experience.

Beautiful property on a pristine lake. So much fun to hang out at the beach bar or use the grills to make dinner by the shore. Nice fully equipped kitchens in the suites or many good options in town and in nearby Sheboygan.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The room and hallways were dated, especially on the second floor where there was no air conditioning—just stale, warm air and lingering food smells. I asked about this multiple times during our 3-night stay and didn’t hear back until the last night, with no resolution. The kitchen had sticky floors, old white appliances, and worn-out furniture and woodwork. It didn’t feel clean—definitely not up to the standards of a basic Holiday Inn Express. I even found a contact lens and chips on the floor, like it hadn’t been properly cleaned. Paper products were rough and cheap—worse than what you’d find in a school. The kitchen had no paper towels, just a few small cloths. We ended up buying our own supplies from a nearby

We enjoyed absolutely everything about this resort. Staff were amazing. Everything was so clean and well-maintained. We loved the pools and the lake-side beach and cafe. We love the watersports! We truly didn't want to leave!
