Funny old place. No receptionist for ages. Had to wait. Then she was quite rude. Another one who needs to go on the customer service course. Old building and maybe going through renovations. Our room looked out over Main Street which was fine but our friends looked out on a view typical of Beirut! Did not feel safe around the area so decided to eat in. Looks like they need to get chef Ramsey in! Beer expensive and breakfast is NOT included so definitely not eating that at hotel and will be finding a local bakery. Rooms fair to say are clean and tidy but lacked a lot of character. Beds comfy. So I ask myself would I stay again and sadly the answer is no, I’ll find somewhere else first.

Beautiful restored hotel in an historic building. The exterior and common areas are beautifully restored and reflect the period in which the building was built. The rooms are brand new and modern. As a Diamond member, the hotel proactively upgraded us to a king suite. We had a beautiful corner suite with a large sitting area and separate bedroom. Highly recommend booking this type of room. Dinner at the hotel restaurant, The Corner Bar, was amazing. Some of the best salmon we've ever had. And breakfast at the Relish Cafe was also very good. Highly recommend and we will stay here again if we're ever in the Elkhart area!
