this place is nice and new and modern but it has two mega-issues: it's right next to some train tracks where very loooong and very noisy trains pass by within just a few feet of the rooms on that side of the building. **and** it's got the cheapest, thinnest walls of any Marriott property I've ever stayed in (I have ＞1500 lifetime nights in Marriott properties): just someone talking at a low volume in the next room is like you're sitting in the room with them and any TV volume is heard in your room. It's so bad, they have a device glued to the work desk space in the room which I've never seen in any hotel (let alone a Marriott property): a "MODIO" device -- a "Guestroom Acoustic Control". Ewps: it's broken/doesn't turn on-- no "soothing background sounds" the device's control promises.

The bathroom door wasn’t working properly and the television in our room really needs replacing. You hear a lot of the hallway noise.

great for train watching at night, not for sleepin
Rooms in the back are a stone-throw (no kidding) to freight train tracks that run throughout the night. Despite the hotel's best effort with their window, you can feel the vibrations and hear the noise.
Would have been 5 stars had I requested a room on the other side.

Great hotel in Elizabethtown
Beautiful and comfortable hotel room. Large bathroom was a pleasant surprise. Separate lounge area with couch and desk was an added bonus. Friendly and professional staff. I definitely will stay here again!

Excellent stay
Staff was friendly, check in and out was a breeze, room was clean and it was quiet.
It was no hassle to get room sales tax exempt since it was for work, and that was the best part. So many hotels make it a big deal to do that, so I am grateful for the ease of it at this hotel and will be back if I stay in Etown again.

Stay here!
Some minor issues. Tub slippery, shower head, trash on top of desk cube.
Lobby really clean. Room overall was good.

The hotel needs to have upkeep improvement. Floors, stairs, walls, tiles, pool, fitness room need upkeep and thorough cleaning. The room fridge does not gets cold. Need to fill up room coffee. Need to make sure you have employees covered morning breakfast. I have had incidents where there were no breakfast in the morning. No coffee. No one was working to setup breakfast. That is not acceptable.
