Everything was super clean and nice!! Staff were very kind. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel, staff is very friendly. George works the night shift, is very professional and friendly. He is very quick to get anything you need for the room, and made more coffee. Fresh baked cookies in the late afternoon and evening. Quiet area in the city. There is a 7 11 next door to the hotel. The location is nice and there is a Food Lion and Applebee's close to the hotel. Spoke with the manager while I was there and he is very friendly and makes sure you are happy with the room and service. Breakfast is okay, typical of the Comfort Inn chain. The lady who takes care of breakfast makes sure you have everything you want in the morning. The hotel does accept CLC(Corporate Lodging Card).

A basic Comfort Inn stay. No complaints but nothing out of the ordinary good or bad. We found it good for an overnight stop. There was the usual typical breakfast. Easy access to get to your destination with adequate parking. Staff was helpful.

Adequate for a quick stay. We were staying one night on our way south. I booked it because it was a reasonable price and stated it was completely remodeled. The remodel is lacking. Room had damaged furniture. Several ants noted on the floor. Breakfast was lacking. Only had eggs and biscuit and gravy, and cold items. The area is a little sketchy. After leaving it looks like there is some kind of correctional facility very close. The receptionist was great! She is the reason I gave in 3 stars. Super friendly and helpful, so I feel it ok for an overnight but nothing more than that.

We chose this Comfort Inn for ease of getting to the marathon race day. They were also very nice to allow for us to checkout between 12 and 1 so my wife would be able to shower before leaving for our drive back. There is also a great restaurant (Montero’s) just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

A decent hotel although maybe not quite worth the $100 a night rate even with the AAA discount. The Clothing Rack in the closet was broken and was leaning downward such that it was not stable enough to hold hangar clothing. The toilet paper rack was broken in the bathroom. The parking was very odd and seemed limited. I checked in at around 11:00 p.m. and ran out to get some really late dinner. I just happened to luck up and find an empty space at the front of the hotel but I wonder how and where people Park if the hotel is ever full. There is a Days Inn hotel literally right next door. The heating/ air conditioning unit is somewhat loud and throughout a large part of the night would make a recurring clicking noise that could keep the lightest sleeper awake. In the shower they have the now standard shampoo and conditioner mounted on one of the walls but inexplicably they have no basic soap or shower gel. The only soap in room is the small bars of soap on the bathroom sink. Positives, the hotel is on a stretch of highway that is right around the corner from a McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts and several other restaurants. And there is a 7-Eleven store right next to the hotel. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were good and consistent. All in all, it is an OK choice for a short, business stay but would be underwhelming for a vacation stay or any type of romantic getaway. Adequate is probably the best one-word description for this hotel.

This place is a dump. I only gave it 2 stars because of the friendly front desk staff. It’s old and not in a great area. The carpet is worn, the paint is peeling, the bathroom is old and the toilet seat was coming off. The bathroom door wouldn’t close either. One set of curtains had no track to close them and there was a spotlight shining in from the Days in next door. Speaking of the Days Inn, there was a fight at 3:45am in the parking lot with screaming. On the other side of the hotel is a 7-11 with people constantly hanging there. I should have spent the extra money and stayed at the Hampton Inn up the road. Never again, but glad it was for one night on our way to the beach.

I have a house 30 minutes away in Hertford NC. Presently I live in Atlanta Before I retired I would drive from Atl to Elizabeth City to work 4 days in the week and return to Atl. Mr. Diliello made it feel like home so I would stay at the comfort Inn good phone connection and internet as well as cable TV. NEWLY RENOVATED JUS LIKE NEWMY SPIY

This hotel is definitely no frills, but it served its purpose for the night. The reception was pleasant, and the clerk provided some good recommendations for food. The common areas were as clean as they could be for a dated hotel. The room was sufficient, definitely nothing fancy.
