The Mansefield Hotel

It’s good location in Elgin. Nice hotel with rustic looking interior. The staff were friendly. We booked it because we wanted somewhere nicer than the travelodge. It said also that the room has a smart TV so that was a plus as we wanted a home away from home since we were visiting family during the day and wanting to chill at night. The room we were given didn’t have a smart tv so we called reception just to ask how we get Netflix on it and they said that the tv in our room was recently replaced and immediately offered us a new room. It was same size bed but the room was a lot bigger, had a sofa in it and a smart tv. That was kind of them. It’s not a massive deal but it was a selling point for us choosing the room which they didn’t know at the time, so it was nice they resolved the issue without any fuss. First day the breakfast was a bit bare, my toast actually had mould on it and we couldn’t cook it ourselves. Second day there was a bigger selection and the option to cook your own toast. So I feel like there must’ve been a fresh delivery the second day with all the new fresh stock there was available. It was a pleasant stay and not too expensive in comparison to a chain so it was worth it for the amenities and ideal location.

Just back from a lovely 1 night away. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a very warm and comforting feel about it. Our room was lovely and warm, super clean. It was great to have our breakfast taken to the table rather than buffet style. It was tasty and hot, served on hot plates. Would definitely recommend

We were in Elgin for one night completing a job, we arrived at the hotel around 8pm and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. Smart TVs in rooms meant being able to access Netflix etc. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was incredibly fresh and tasty. We had a few drinks in the bar before bed and the night porter that served us was a very affable and chatty guy. A massive selection of whiskies available. No complaints at all. Recommended.

Spent a wonderful 2 nights at the Mansefield. Never met such friendly staff in any of the hotels we have stayed in. The quality of the food was top notch with very good sized portions and believe all locally sourced as much as it can be. The hotel gave us a room upgrade as we were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary which was so kind of them. Cant wait to make a return visit

Beautiful hotel, fantastic rooms with every thing you need including iron, ironing board, dressing gowns tea and coffee making facilities, great staff who were helpful and friendly, slept like a log and left feeling relaxed, great restaurant and location with Elgin a 5 min walk away.

Beautiful hotel, lovely room, great food and the best staff. What more can you ask for? My wife and I were there for my son's wedding, I have to say it could not be better, keep up the good work, the friendly staff made the whole experience special.
