Hotel Los Farallones
3.9/5100 Reviews
My stay at Hotel Fallones was nothing short of extraordinary. The food, while on the pricier side, was delicious and well worth the indulgence. The suite I stayed in was an exotic tropical paradise—truly on another level. The staff deserves special recognition, especially the exceptional waitstaff at Auramar. Their service was top-notch and added to the overall experience. Staying in the Pelícano Suite was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing through the night was a dream come true and incredibly soothing. It made the whole experience feel like a beautiful, serene escape. The shower in the suite was fantastic, with excellent water pressure, and the pools were nothing short of amazing. I felt like Michael Phelps gliding through the water—an invigorating and refreshing experience. One note of caution: be careful when venturing onto the beach. Being so close to the shore means the waves can be intense and potentially dangerous. The ocean is full of energy here, so it’s best to stay vigilant. Overall, Hotel Fallones offers a perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and natural beauty. I highly recommend it for those looking for an unforgettable getaway.
Hotel Roca Sunzal
4.4/5102 Reviews
My family and I traveled to El Tunco for a couple of days. I decided on staying at Roca Sunzal after reading positive reviews and honestly the reviews did not disappoint. We stayed for only a couple of nights but this hotel definitely met mine and my family’s expectations. The location has guarded parking (felt safe) and there is security walking around throughout the day. We booked an ocean view room with 3 beds. The room was clean and was esthetically pleasing. The pools are located centrally and although we only used them in the morning, they were clean. The hotel is located steps away from the beach. In the morning, the front desk called and asked if we wanted room service and although we opted out they brought up extra towels and water bottles. There is a restaurant located ocean front and breakfast was included. There is a limited selection but it was delicious. Since I was traveling solo back to the states, I scheduled a shuttle to the airport which cost me $45 (not sure if that’s an average price or not) . My only drawback was that a couple of days before my stay they ran my credit card and somehow emailed me that my card was not valid. I called the hotel and they said it was an issue w my bank, however after calling my bank they said the hotel ran it and withdrew themselves. Anyhow, it somehow got resolved. Other than that I was please with my stay and would definitely stay there again!
