AC Hotel by Marriott Los Angeles South Bay

After a 28-hour flight, I arrived very tired and jet-lagged. Unfortunately, the male front desk staff was not welcoming, which made check-in unpleasant. During my stay, the in-room safety box was not working properly. On the night of the 7th around 2:30 AM, I was woken up by extremely loud music from room 530. I contacted the front desk, but the noise continued again after staff left and lasted until almost 3:00 AM, so I could not sleep. At check-out, I felt unwell due to lack of sleep and dizziness. The safety box also malfunctioned again, and I had to wait around 40 minutes for maintenance before I could leave. However, I would like to mention that a female receptionist around 2:30 AM on the 7th was kind and helpful and provided me with water, which I appreciated.

There was a mini-fire incident broke out at the laundry station during my stay and all residents were told to evaluate immediately from the room. Afterwards, there was no water supply for the whole night causing huge inconvenience. It’s only until we ask about the situation to get latest update from front desk. Communication to guests was poor and they said will refund part of accommodation but there’re room to improve considering it’s one of Marriott brand hotels.

Facilities were very clean. Room was very comfortable. I only ate at FLORA but the drinks and food were very good. The view was fantastic and it was nice to relax in the sun! The staff were excellent; everyone was very friendly and helpful and had some nice conversations. The check-in texts weren't intrusive which was appreciated. I can't remember where yall purchased the local baked goods, but the chocolate cookie was amazing! Location was perfect as it was near SOFI Stadium and near the airport. The area was quiet and other than the person above me being somewhat loud, the noise level was low.

They were very cool . They had just changed their. Shuttle system so I waited for over an hour but they gave me me late check out and a free amazing breakfast!

Clean room, easy to find, staff is polite. Would recommend

Clean property with convenient location near LAX airport. However, housekeeping service is only provided every 3 days, which can be inconvenient for extended stays.

Rooms were spacious and clean! Stuff were friendly. Only gripe would be the lack of affordable paking options
