Palapas Ventana

We had a most wonderful experience at Casa Zorro. We loved La Ventana more every day we were there, learning where to find the adventures and foods we love and settling into the rhythms of lo cotidiano with sand and surf. The office staff at Palapas Ventana were lovely and helpful and Gerry could not have been a more wonderful guide for our snorkeling adventure out to Cerralvo. Magical!

This is a really wonderful place to stay! It’s right on the sea of Cortez with dreamy, sunrises and sunsets, the staff is lovely and helpful. The food is excellent, and the Palapas are charming with your own little deck and hammock, and they are quite large inside. Also the resort offers excellent excursions like boat and snorkel trips, paddleboards, and kayaks and more. I will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay here. Perfect location, clean, friendly staff, and great food! With paddle boards and snorkel gear included, we could be out on the water as much as I wanted. It was a truly magical experience for some rest, and relaxation. Only challenge was when connecting to a 90 min zoom call, the WiFi didn’t sustain. I was kicked offline multiple times through the call. However, for other online work, it was sufficient enough. Would go back for sure!

An amazing experience combining clean, comfortable Casitas, a world class restaurant, a staff that take care of your every need and Boats and Captains that cater to Fly fishing. Don't miss the rush of having a Bull Dorado take you to your backing in a nano-second or seeing s monster Pez Gallo explode on the surface Popper you just cast. An incredible experience at a very reasonable price. f

Great place, came there with my wife for spearfishing and freediving in mid May. She is brand new in freediving, but performed surprisingly well and hit new depth in blue water. Tim has built a great team of dedicated, hard working and polite people. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating Food was great and there are some great beer and wine options They will clean, freeze and cook your catch, this is important after 8+ hours being in the water, so you can take some rest. Special thanks to Manual Meno, spearfishing guide. This is the second time I dive with him and he always works hard. He goes with us in the water, spotting the fish and manages the flashers, chum and doing safety. I feel very safe diving with him. Great wild life as well, we saw dolphins, sea lions, whales, mobula rays, etc. I missed couple wahoos and red snapper, so will come next year with kids to get them! It is very safe and family friendly place. It was easy to communicate with other guests and everyone was friendly and down to Earth. People from the entire world come there. I felt the service was much better than you get in US now and people are more relaxed. Smooth transportation to and from the airport.
