Red Roof Inn El Paso West

Terrible experience with the hotel. When we checked in to the room the shower was broken so the water pressure was soo high when it came out the showerhead it actually broke the skin and there was a random piece of metal in the tub. When I went to dry off and go speak to the front desk I found out that they didn’t even clean the room either there was MAKEUP on the towel I just used to wipe my body with. I tried speaking to the front desk attendant but he was too busy and pawned me off on a maintenance guy to get the shower fixed saying his manager would be in touch. While in the room the property manager called the room and was immediately hostile. I answered the phone to a very rude woman barking at me “what’s wrong with your room?” And when I told her that wasn’t the way to start out with a complaint she accused me of yelling at her staff (never even raised my voice) and claimed she couldn’t do anything other than kick me out of the hotel if I didn’t like the room since they were fully booked. When I told her I’d rather stay and I’d just speak with her manager she very confidently told me she was the manager and she didn’t care. So I told her I would be making sure to leave a VERY detailed account of exactly how terrible the service at this hotel is. Unless you have no other options DO NOT STAY HERE there are 2 la quintas across the road with much friendlier management

I knew i was checking in to a low rated motel and it was low cost but the fact they had no hot water and didn't know when they would get it back was off to me.

Checked in only to find out there was no hot water. Would have been nice to have been notified beforehand so I could have made other arrangements. After driving 10 hours you just want a hot shower!

I got a AAA discount so it was $89.99 for one person for one night. She gave me a room where the door was outside. Wasn't really good with that since I was by myself but oh well. My car broke down and I took to to Pep Boys so they needed it over night so I asked them to take me to the nearest hotel. My mistake. It was really run down. Not sure if they changed the sheets on the bed but when I tried to go to sleep i could feel like little rocks so I checked and sure enough down by the feet area there was gravel or something. I could tell I think people that work around there from out of town must stay there so it might be ok for them but not an older lady by herself. Would not even stay there with my family. But at least she could have given me a room where you had to go inside the hotel to your door,
