Nice hotel to put up.

They hate their customers. Refuse comp breakfast for platinum and above guests. Stay elsewhere until they get their act together. Horrible. Lots of other options. No need to give your money to this property or their owner - Columbia Sussex (who is ultimately the one to decide that this property will ignore Marriott program rules).

If you’re a Marriott elite expecting your benefits to be honored, avoid this property at all costs. As a Titanium Elite, I was entitled to complimentary breakfast when the lounge was closed. Instead, the Marriott El Paso staff flat-out lied — claiming they don’t need to offer breakfast, falsely stating they don’t have a restaurant (they do), and insisting I had “declined” benefits I was never even offered. Every excuse contradicted Marriott’s own Terms & Conditions. Worse: I had to escalate the issue TEN TIMES — through corporate, customer service, and eventually Marriott brand leadership — just to receive the $100 compensation I was contractually owed. Even then, the hotel GM refused to admit any wrongdoing. This isn’t a misunderstanding. It’s a deliberate pattern of deception and benefit denial, designed to save the owners money at elite guests’ expense. The property hopes you’ll either give up or not know the rules. That’s not incompetence — that’s cheating. Shame on Marriott for allowing a franchise like this to carry the brand name. I’ll never return.

Rooms look like they been touched up not too long ago but still feel real small, and some of the stuff already lookin worn down.They got a pool and sauna but both have seen better days. It’s close to the airport, but shuttle took so long to get here. It’s a good ways from downtown or anywhere you have business. Been marriott bonvoy platinum elite for years now and they aint offer no breakfast. Staff didn’t seem too interested in much and just kinda felt like i didn’t matter much bein there.

El Paso Marriott Does Not Honor Bonvoy Benefits Marriott Hotels are required to offer Platinum+ members the choice of breakfast for two in the restaurant or 750 points per night when the lounge is closed. This hotel refused to honor that benefit and then declined to honor Marriott's Terms and Conditions (T&C), which entitle affected guests to $100 when the guaranteed choice is not offered. The hotel / Marriott has made two misleading claims: (1) "Our property does not have an alternative outlet to support this service." - Their own website, app, in-room materials, and restaurant website all advertise their Red Rim restaurant as open daily for breakfast. (2) "Marriott hotels do not participate in this benefit" - Based on the T&C, this property IS a participating property and not noted among any exceptions. I had raised this issue during my stay and followed up after, but the hotel is refusing to honor and abide by the Marriott T&C. To Marriott Bonvoy members who value consistent recognition and trust in establish program rules: I strongly recommend avoiding this property. To hotel management: If you’re not going to uphold Marriott’s published standards, perhaps it’s time to consider deflagging the property and reconsider using the Marriott name.
