Property Description
Doubletree Hotel El Paso Downtown/City Center brings a touch of modern luxury to old El Paso. At once, it's the sleek and dynamic hub of the city's financial and professional community - a mixed bag of classic architecture - a collection of fashionable upscale stores -- and a lively mix of border-style boutiques selling everything from souvenirs to Mexican fashions and accessories. It's different. It's intriguing. And it's fun. Which is exactly why we chose to build our hotel right in the middle of downtown's most picturesque district. Our hotel combines a swank, contemporary grand hotel with plenty of old-school snap, sizzle and service. If you need to do some business, welcome to seventh heaven -- our 7th floor that is. Here, your room key opens our Business Center, an oasis equipped with the high-tech communications tools you need to retreat, focus and get back to kicking back. Just outside the door, hit the refresh button -- a sensational, picture-window view of El Paso, and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, with a slice of New Mexico. This floor is home to our trio of posh, yet intimate 7th floor meeting rooms. To wind back down, our Fitness Center is steps away, featuring Precor-equipped exercise machines that face a stunning picture-window view of downtown El Paso. At sunset, gravitate to our sprawling Sunset Terrace that greets you gloriously from a 7th floor portal. The feel is European and the clean, sparkling waters of our outdoor pool are deliciously inviting. Dive in, ease in, or just enjoy a bit of sun worship on the tiled terrace. The wraparound view of El Paso is stunning. And a sunset toast from our cabana-style bar sets the mood for a pleasurable night of relaxation, in your room or on the town. Dine luxuriously at our Italian Ristorante Casanova restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Just off the lobby, the M Cafe is our hideaway coffee and pastry shop. If our sleek modernism lavished with creature comforts is ringing your bell, there's yet another compelling reason to choose our hotel. Downtown is the most centralized location for exploring El Paso, instantly accessible to I-10. Two blocks away, Mesa Street divides downtown streets east and west. Pure simplicity by design. Just walk out the front door. Go north and stroll through El Paso's timeless Plaza, a taste of urban Mexico...go south and you'll find a bazaar-like atmosphere with tiny shops virtually overflowing with a mix of merchandise, including souvenirs from south of the border...go east and pick up the fascinating downtown walking tour that traces the growth of our more than 400-year-old city...go west and you're smack dab in the museum district. Did we mention our delightfully wicked chocolate chip cookies? A member of our crispy, multi-lingual staff will treat you to one at check-in. Enjoy.

The location is in the city center. The bed is very comfortable. There are many breakfast options, not a buffet. The chef cooks on site. Very good. You can only choose one for the free breakfast. I will choose to stay here next time!

The carpet was sticky! Thankfully I didn’t have to spend here all day as we spent in Mexico having fun.. we were given towels with mascara, I don’t wear mascara. Our breakfast plates from the restaurant downstairs were left on our table trash wasn’t thrown out .. I couldn’t even have a discussion I had to whisper .. as a full blown Mexican whispering is definitely not in my vocabulary my whisper is just as loud…

Excellent Location and Comfortable Stay We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the Coldplay concert venue, and it turned out to be a great decision. The location is excellent—close to many restaurants and just a short Uber ride away from several malls. The rooms were very comfortable, and we appreciated the on-site restaurant and cozy bar, which added to the overall convenience and atmosphere. Unfortunately, we did experience a billing issue: we reserved two rooms but were charged for three. We're still in the process of resolving the reimbursement with the hotel, and we found that the management has not handled the claim with much empathy or urgency. Despite this setback, we would still consider staying here again if we return to El Paso, thanks to the comfort and convenience the hotel offers.

The restaurant was truly superb. The hospitality was also very immeasurable. The entire front Desk and their management set the tone. Senior Montales George and Thursday night artist in the Restaurant were Truly Super. They each deserve raises, please. The morning and evening shifts instead restsurant were beyond compassionate and kind. Thank You

I stayed here in December 2024 , I was driving home to Houston an we stayed here for just one night . the parking felt fairly safe . the area of town seem fairly safe. it gives a slightly older feel for a Hilton Hotel . But it seems to me to be one of the best hotel in the city, in other words the whole city feels this way . Was it clean , yes the over all experience a little dated yes, Service was fine . they have a restaurant on property with large portions. it's not cheap but not too expensive either , it was okay. it's a couple other places in walking distance . it's also a cool park in walking distance . we promptly left by morning and continued our journey .

The best part of my stay was leaving. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I would have been better off staying at a motel 6. The front desk lady was absolutely awful - rude, unprofessional, and not hospitable. She didn’t even offer me cookies as most double trees do. The elevator was broken and we got stuck in for a couple of minutes (major accessibility issue for those with disabilities!). There was a loud announcement at 3 AM of an employee telling guests to not use the elevator. When I called they said this was a mistake. I got a letter slipped under my door telling me the hot water was out and had to take a cold shower. The pool was overfilled so water was spilling out onto the pavement - a major slipping hazard. I will never stay at another Hilton again after this experience.

The service we received was great as well as the food. Waiters and staff were amazing. Our food was hot when coming out and the flavors were exquisite. The dessert was perfectly balanced between the limoncello and the mango sorbet. An amazing experience will come back again
