Cotton Valley Motel

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are located in a great area with plenty of access to purchase necessities for if you're staying for awhile.

PSA: the office is not at the motel. It's at the diner next door. It took us awhile to figure that out. We called the number on the billboard and it was an answering service with no idea where the office was. There's no sign as to where it is and the sign on the building by room 101 says office so we knocked on that door. ( empty).we were leaving and I had to pee so we went next door and low and behold it's where the office is. They need to put a sign out saying that. The motel is old, really old and it is like the motels of our youth. We were tired so we stayed. The bed had blood on the sheets so I put my own sheets on and sprayed the thing with Lysol. I would not have stayed if I wasn't so tired. It's not a clean place but it's a place to sleep. wont be back. Too old and dirty to take a shower.

Convenient and quiet I was pleasantly surprised to find the checkin located inside a Mexican restaurant, The food was great, and the restaurant manager is very helpful. I would suggest playing Mexican music rather than the modern pop music, but hey, what do I know!

Older motel next to good Mexican restaurant Inexpensive older motel next to good Mexican food restaurant and bar. Owner was nice. Room was pretty clean. Bed was comfortable and clean. A.c./heater's buttons were broke and we couldn't change temp.

No room service or attempt to clean room. Check in staff great but housekeeping poor. This is more of a boarding house
