First of all, if you can, avoid El Nido, in general. It's a tourist trap, overcrowded, overpriced, plenty of italian, french and spanish tourists. If you really wanna try El Nido, I suggest you go elsewhere. I'm giving it a 2 star review only because of the kindness of the lady owner (but I'm sorry, I have to say how things really are), the free breakfast and the location. Otherwise it would have been a zero. Old, smelly room, the bed was stuck in between two walls, the room was infested with insects (and i never ate in my room, given the strong advice posted in my bedroom). The room was never cleaned in 4 days i spent there, so you can imagine how the floor might have been after 4 days of bringing sand back from the beach and killing bugs. And the price paid was 30€ per night, which may seem little, but for the same amount you can get a more than decent hotel in Boracay. They gave me two towels on the first day, and those were the towels you had to live with your entire stay. Electricity comes and goes, the shower has no water pressure whatsoever, so it takes forever to get a decent shower. So yes, avoid El Nido in general or anyway avoid this place.
