The hotel is very central in El Nido Town, in two minutes on foot you are at the beach from which all the excursions depart, very close by there are shops, restaurants… very convenient for going out on foot without having to take a tuk tuk. The staff is extremely kind, I had to ask the reception several times to make phone calls for me, they were super helpful both in calling and asking for the information I needed. Now let's get to the room… we stayed on the ground floor in the room that was advertised with a “garden view” (I attach a photo), it is true that we had an independent entrance with a small garden, but the garden view that the website talked about was a window inside the room from which you could see another garden with plants… there were three vases, two with dry plants, above a slightly broken roof… in short, not exactly like the photos on the website. The room was spacious as was the bathroom; the bathroom was accessed by a sliding door that was hard to slide… The room was not very bright, the cleaning was so-so… we found a cockroach in the bathroom and several others just outside the room door. Even in the city, however, there are plenty of cockroaches running around, so I think it is a common problem of poor cleaning. Lots of humidity in the room and lots of mosquitoes… its dehumidifiers that failed to do their job in the face of the humidity level in the Philippines! Breakfast was not very varied, there is a choice of 6 different breakfasts if you want it before 8:30 (you always take it earlier because the tours leave between 8:30 and 9), otherwise from 8:30 there is a continental breakfast with croissants. It must be chosen the night before, however it is quite good.
