El Nido Resorts Pangulasian Island

beautiful resort, which felt like a dream island. It's highly recommended for couples, with professional and friendly staff and great tours. However, it's best for shorter stays due to limited nighttime activities and the isolated island location. Be cautious of jellyfish season in the hot summer months. I would definitely go there again if the prices are reasonable.

The first words of the staff is “welcome to paradise” and we can only say it was truly experiencing paradise. From the first second at lounge arrival to the last second of departure there was an amazing, friendly and personalized customer care! The hotel environment , the room, the food, the complementary boat trips all was excellent and gave us an incredible experience to never forget and … to return back to☺️

I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment recently, and I must commend the team for their outstanding service and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, every staff member we encountered was exceptionally friendly, approachable, and accommodating. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority here, as they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.

I would give this resort 3.5 stars. We had a far from perfect arrival. We had booked a pool villa after seeing pictures on the website. Our pool was located to the side of the villa overlooked by other villas and there was a very obscure view of the sea. We asked to move to another villa and the person who had showed us to the villa left to find out if we could move. While we were waiting my husband stood on the mat outside the glass bedroom door and went flying. He scraped his arm quite badly. But actually he could have had very serious injuries. We called the reception and they came with the resort doctor who dressed the wound. The doctor was excellent. He had slipped on the mat because the anti slip under mat had not been there! Before his fall I had asked one of the staff cleaning the villas if there was a vacant one with a pool infront of the villa and she said there was. The person from the reception said there was no other villa and that they were all booked. The one that was vacant was only going to be occupied later. I said we could move to that villa especially after my husband could have slipped and had very serious injuries! I wondered why she had not suggested we move to the villa. I am going to list the good and the bad about this resort: Good: All the staff were delightful and could not have been more friendly The villa was beautiful and luxurious The spa was great The activities were excellent Bad: The food. Expensive and unimaginative. Nowhere near 5 stars. Apart from breakfast it was quite hard to eat in a healthy way. There was little food from the Philippines or fresh fish. Our visit to this resort was sandwiched between Anya Resort in Tagaytay and Raffles in Manila - both of which had outstanding food. The beach. Loads of rocks on the sand and in the sea. The only powdery sand was on our walk from our villa to the restaurant. This is not the place to come if you want powdery sand. Even if you wanted to sit on the beach the only loungers were for the beach villas. Very little information about anything in the rooms When I asked for a spa menu I was told to use the bar code. That only gave the first page of treatments. Another guest had, what seemed to be, the only complete printed spa list and gave me that to select my treatment from. In conclusion. Compared to the only serious competiton to this resort Amanpulo, I wish we had stayed at Amanpulo mainly because I think the food would have been better and from all accounts the beach has powdery white sand and you can walk around the island.

Wow! From the moment you step off your arrival flight, to when you are dropped back off at the airport for your departure, you are made to feel special. If you have a special request, just ask and they can make it happen. Yes, the beach is not the dreamy white powdery sand. If you can overlook that, PIR can’t be beat with everything it offers. The resort is in a great location for exploring the many beautiful islands of El Nido. The villas are spacious and beautiful. The food superb (and we are foodies who can be quite critical when it comes to food). The snorkeling in front is great. The resort offers complimentary boat tours, but I recommend doing a private boat tour to set your own schedule and places to visit. Your guide will be with you every step of the adventure. I love that the resort believes in being eco friendly but yet manages to deliver top notch luxury. I saw not one single plastic used in the resort. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the best thing about the resort… the fantastic staff that helped made our stay absolutely spectacular. Eduard the resort manager who was there daily, greeting us and ensuring we were enjoying our stay. The restaurant staff Frank, Sheryl, John, Jude, Anton, always service with a smile. Chef Ponce who cooked us some wonderful off menu meals. Shiaw, Jumix, and Randy at the bar who made some mean gin and tonic. Romeo and Jane at the front desk. Gladys, Ray, and Janmil for assisting us with scheduling activities. Thank you Capt. Raymond for a smooth ride during our boat tour. A huge, huge thank you to our guide Renel who not only guided us during our big lagoon kayaking, but also during our snorkeling stops to point out things that we would have otherwise missed. Most of all, for being so kind, caring, patient, and helpful to me who has physical mobility challenges. If you’re still reading this and on the fence, stop and just book it. You will have no regrets!

The BEST resort with the most wonderful staff in El Nido! We had an amazing time, and we cannot wait for our next trip. We’ve stayed at Miniloc, too, and we’re big fans, as well! We are always well taken care of. If you’re having doubts, this is your sign to book your stay at El Nido Resorts. You won’t regret it!
