Nomads Hostel Tunisia

I had an absolutely infuriating experience at Normads Hostel. Despite making a reservation two days ahead and confirming it multiple times, their communication was a complete disaster. They kept pestering me to confirm the reservation, but when I asked for specifics about the room, they deliberately ignored my requests until the last minute. When I finally arrived, exhausted from a 180-kilometer journey, I was appalled to find that the room I had clearly requested for just my mom and me was shared with other guests. The staff only responded to my concerns through messages when I was practically at the hostel, seemingly to cover their own mistakes. The worst part? They tried to scam me by demanding payment for all four beds in the room, even though we only needed two. This outrageous attempt at overcharging felt like a blatant fraud. My experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would strongly urge anyone considering this hostel to think twice!!!!!

It's a beautiful, relaxed, colourful place to start and end your trip to Tunisia and definitly more then just a hostel. It's a very welcoming, warm-hearted place and great to connect with other travellers from all over the world, to exchange thoughts and to do activities together. The people working there are very inspiring, friendly and helpful. I can recommend you very much to stay there for a few days. You are doing great! :)

After many months of traveling through Africa, it was a real revelation to arrive at this place. One of the few (actual) hostels I stayed at during my trip and it was great. The staff go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be, it's quiet, clean, and there is plenty of space to just chill out. I stayed in the dorm but there is a private room too. Definitely go here of you visit Tunis! Wifi is also great btw, which is convenient if you want to work on the road.
