Very basic from an American perspective. No toiletries or potable water in the room. The included breakfast was excellent however and the beach across the street beautiful. There is no private beach in Punta Cana, the fancy hotels just have guards keeping non-guests from stepping onto their land behind the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful but most knew only a few words of English.

Our first night in the Dominican Republic we stayed at Green Beach Coast Hotel as was close to Punta Cana airport. Not as close as we initially thought, but got a taxi there for less than £15. Hotel at the end of a dead end lane in the town. Really nice welcome. Shown though to our room which was a simple suite. Basic but clean. Resonantly comfy bed. Shower nice and hot and free flowing. Beach was accessible via a little alleyway opposite the reception. Having our breakfast (included in the price) on the beach was lovely. WiFi was fine and accessible everywhere even down on the beach. Only drawbacks were that our room had no views and there was a dripping air conditioner unit outside our window onto an old plastic bag which was quite loud (till I reached out and moved the bag a bit). A particularly nice bar (Onno’s) a short walk (100m or so) was very lively with good selection of cocktails. We thought this hotel was a real bargain. Well worth staying. Wish we had booked a couple of nights. But never mind. Next time.

A acomodação foi excelente.
Localização muito boa, sai do hotel e já está na praia, na rua tem restaurantes e lojinhas.
Porém, o atendimento é péssimo!
Os dois homens que estavam na recepção te olham como se não quisesse que você estivesse lá, falam de forma rude e não explicam nada. Perguntamos se poderíamos tomar café da manhã na praia e ele falou que não iria levar o café até lá.
Só que no nosso último dia quem estava na recepção era uma mulher extremamente simpática e atenciosa, assim que passamos por ela pela manhã ela logo perguntou se gostaríamos que levasse nosso café da manhã até a praia.
O check in atrasou 40 minutos.
Café da manhã você escolhe apenas um item do cardápio para repetir paga 11 dólares por prato.

Over-all enjoyed my stay here. The longer I stayed, the more I appreciate the place. Staff is amazing despite not really speaking English - we managed to communicate. Breakfast selection is the best. Also, just a few steps to the beach where you can also have your breakfast.
